I am not arguing it wasn't covered. I am arguing it wasn't given the time and major coverage it deserved for political reasons.
Explain then why the media buried the gosnell story despite him being one of the most prolific seriel killers?
Perhaps to change hearts and minds. Abortion has been glamorized for decades, Seeing the ugly truth could do much good.
Because it's the uglier side of abortion that many do not see or are unaware. IMO, it goes against the Hippocratic oath for a doctor to perform an abortion out simple of convenience. He or she is not only taking chances with the patient's well-being but also taking a life.

A new film is telling the details of a horror so unspeakable, it shocked federal investigators. It’s a story that needs to be told.
Sometimes, a movie is not about entertainment. Sometimes, it’s about something much more important. A film can expose grave evils, and even inspire us to fight those evils. I think “Gosnell: Trial of America’s Biggest Serial Killer,” is just such a film.
Directed by Nick Searcy, the movie dramatizes the horrific, real-life account of Dr. Kermit Gosnell, the west Philadelphia abortionist whose clinic was described in a 2011 Grand Jury report as a “house of horrors.” During a drug raid there, authorities discovered unsanitary conditions, remnants of 45 aborted fetuses in bags inside freezers, rows of jars containing fetal feet, and untrained staff administering medications, which resulted in the death of at least one patient.

We've gone over this before: there are many lists out there that describe why women have abortions. "Convience" isnt listed, unless you have a link to one with data behind it?
Again, if it's not the dishonesty of flaunting the inflammatory crimes of Gosnell, it's lying about why women have abortions. You are unable to conduct this debate without lying...does your position have no actual honest foundation at all?
DISHONESTY IN THE PUBLIC FORUM
the cruel fallacy that adoption is an easy solution to unwanted pregnancy – for any of the parties involved
minimization of maternal burden and risk in pregnancy – loss of wages, shortness of breath and endurance, pain, reduction of motility, vulnerability to humiliation, domestic violence and murder
overstating the maternal risk of abortion (childbirth carries 11 times the maternal mortality of abortion)
the incoherence of great concern for fetal pain at 20 weeks yet no concern for fetal pain in labor and childbirth
the Christian extremist terrorism of stalking, harassment, threats and murder of abortion providers
the corruption of democracy by legislators’ misuse of public health law and policy that worsens public health and wastes resources in order to pander to voters
the reproductive abuse by religious and nationalist authorities to shame and coerce childbearing for ulterior demographic motives
the historic reproductive abuse by physicians and legislators in legal and illegal involuntary sterilization of “undesirable” elements of population
the historic persecution of midwives by the American Medical Association
the lies, broken promises, and coercive adoptions in government subsidized Crisis Pregnancy Centers
<snip>
distortion of scripture to reinforce subjugation of women and perpetuate hierarchies of gender, race, class, orientation, religion and other aspects of wrongful privilege
The left is silent on Gosnell, not because they support or endorse what he did but because the policies they support enable someone like this monster to commit and shield his crimes.
:lamo:lamo:lamo
why post such a blatant retarded lie that honest people left right and center will just mock and laugh at
Saying gosnel got a lot of media coverage is like saying a black girl who was killed got a lot of media coverage. In comparison to what? The white girl that was killed?
Gosnel should have been front page news for months. It should have been topic #1 on every show but yet it wasn't....
Guess we will see. Regardless, if we can't agree abortion is the taking of a life, where's the humanity?
people will never agree to that because its factually wrong . .Guess we will see. Regardless, if we can't agree abortion is the taking of a life, where's the humanity?
I know you support ALL abortion no matter the case.

I'm a prolifer who's very aware of the problem of confirmation bias. I don't want to bend the truth in order to justify my stance or keep my beliefs intact. Yet it's absolutely true that people are celebrating abortion. A minor example is comedian Michelle Wolf. But a more extreme example is Liz Winstead and her organization Lady Parts Justice League. Anyone can go and listen to the rhetoric in their video and podcast media. It's truly an extreme form of the de-stigmatization goal that orgs like Planned Parenthood promote.Ugh, that's a blatant lie. Nobody likes or promotes abortion.

It is the taking of a life... I don't think that anybody on the planet says otherwise.
You mean support a woman's right to choose abortion.
We support women's choice.

Mayne just maybe the pro abortion side does not want to associate a baby in the womb as something of deserving rights.
Do you support their right to gloat?
Actually, Gosnell liked to kill babies, moments after they were born. The left wants no time limits in terms of killing the unborn. Gosnell extrapolated that to outside the womb and the left gave him cover. Fake news is not just about making up lies, but also about burying the truth, so their target audience is unable to draw the correct conclusions. This movie will allow the truth to be known. Abortion will still be legal, but there will be a call for more oversight and regulation.
Gosnell made up his own rules. That is who we are discussing here.
He is the fruit of your support.
Hard to tell from the hardcore supporters. They tend to dehumanize as much as possible to stave off any guilty conscience.

You mean like Robert Dear, Michael Griffin, James Cop etc are the fruit of anti choice support?
