‘The US feels very volatile’: former ambassador warns of election violence
The former UK ambassador in Washington, Kim Darroch, has warned of a “genuine risk” of violence in the aftermath of a close-run US election in November.
Darroch noted that although Joe Biden is maintaining a significant lead nationwide, the margins in some battleground states are shrinking, and he suggested pollsters could be systematically undercounting Donald Trump supporters.
“I’m not sure the pollsters really know how to count Trump voters,” Darroch said in an interview.
He pointed to the recent violence in Portland, Oregon, and Kenosha, Wisconsin, in the wake of police shooting of unarmed Black Americans, and the case of Kyle Rittenhouse, a fervent police supporter facing homicide charges after a shooting incident in Kenosha that left two people dead and a third seriously injured. Rittenhouse has since been hailed as a vigilante hero by the far right.
(. . .)
“If Biden wins, there is a question whether the Trump base will really support or accept that as the outcome. Equally, if it looks like postal votes have been undercounted or there is serious voter suppression you worry about the other side of the argument,” he added. “It feels very volatile.”
“Whoever wins, you just hope that people will accept the result and take it calmly, though I couldn’t say I’m certain that will be the case,” he said.
Yet another warning by a non-American - so obviously Americans can ignore it.
We are a failed state at this point. A viral ****hole with no overarching beliefs or policies due to the grifter and dementia-riddled outpatient 63m traitors have saddled us with.
Only 1 person saddled you with Trump. If Obama hadn't arrogantly mocked him at the correspondence dinner, those 63M would have elected Ted Cruz instead.

1. Absolutely, if the courts eventually decide in favor of Mr. Biden, the Republicans will graciously accept the results.
a. They will then follow every legal & peaceful way to block those extremist BLM policies that will be pursued by the Biden-Harris administration.
2. If the courts rule in favor of President Trump, the Dems will NOT accept the results.
a. The House will immediately impeach him.
b. The Senate, which is likely to go Dem, will find him guilty.
c. When President Pence takes office, the Dems will turn a blind eye to BLM and ANTIFA violence throughout the nation.
d. The House & Senate will oust President Pence.
3. Finally, peace will return to the streets as President Nancy Pelosi orders the protesters and looters to stand down, for they will have succeeded in their coup d'etat.

Ah, the stop me before I kill again or the murders will be on you, defense.
Let us not forget that 65,853,514 voted for Mrs. Clinton. She likely would have been elected against Ted Cruz.

America is so divided right now because of Donald Trump that we are certainly teetering on beyond repair. Large pockets of Americans genuinely hate other large pockets of people. Americans view other Americans as the enemy.

Actually not really. The divide started long before trump. it was about 2000 when the democrats went off the reservation when al gore lost the election.
that is when they truely began to reveal just how extreme and nutso they had become.
Trump simply bought it out full tilt.

No, if she couldn't beat Trump she couldn't beat anyone. The democratic party should never have put her on the ticket the way they did. She was as hated as anyone in America at the time. And for as hated as she was, warranted or not, she almost won. Dems had an easy election with any other person. But they thought they could put forth anyone. Clinton and the dems decision to push her the way they did had as much to do with Trump winning as anything.
Yes, the Democrats have already planned to fight the election through the courts no matter what the popular vote. They will rely on mail in balloting as an excuse, which could take a while to resolve. Of course they will also instigate more riots if they need them.1. Even if the Dems win the Senate, they won't have a 2/3rds majority that they would need to boot out Trump. It's always good to take reality into account when making predictions.
What 'hate' are you referring to? The hate the country is seeing is all coming from theNope Americans disagreed and argued over politics. Trump promoted hate. It worked. People like you bought into the hate and are destroying America behind that orange coward.

left, with Dem encouragement.
However I'm not that sure Dems will take the Senate or the House.
