It's always good to have an ally. But a word of advice. I'm not sure how much since this will make. And of course I don't know your mother so I don't know how well she will take this.
Do everything you can to not appear defensive I know it's hard, but if you want to have a relationship with your mother and you want her to grow then that sort of thing makes it easier later down the road.

When I told my parents about me it was just that I couldn't help who I was. My dad checked out of the conversation which is fine that's his coping mechanism. My mom tried to talk me out of it.

It is a hard thing to do but if she gets that you don't think she's the bad guy, and that you don't blame her for something even if you do it will make her more receptive in my experience women are better at this than men, but that can be just based on the women I know versus the men I know.

All i want her to do is hug me and say she loves me, but i have to admit it gives me the shakes thinking of me saying i love her. Soemthing else i wanted to say. I read alot of your posts and i wish i could express myself like you can. I really admire you alot.

Aunt antifa is a provocature. She says inflammatory things to be inflammatory. Little or no substance to it ever. Just look at her screen name. That is meant to provoke. Don't let yourself be provoked and you'll see how empty she really is.

Yea, might even put all my hair in a bun. Katie, my roomie, couldnt believe i bought that dress for a date but she says its awesome on me. I could have 1 glass and just sip on it.
