Trump Hush Money Case - Manufactured Crime?

A national/populist demogouge who demonizes his opponents, openly fantasizes about locking up his political opponents and praises autocratic dictators around the world? No, nothing in common at all.

Trump Hush Money Case - Manufactured Crime?

There were only two sides in Charlottesville - Nazis, and anti-fascist protestors. There were no "good guys" on the Nazi side. Period, full stop, end of story. If you can't see what Trump was doing, that's on you - but you shouldn't expect anyone else to buy the bullshit. Plausible...

Time to pay E Jean Carroll, Donny boy

You're welcome to impotently rage as much as you want, but the law is the law. No appeals court will overturn their findings of fact.

Trump Hush Money Case - Manufactured Crime?

Oh, so you mean it's a bad thing to criticize lawyers for representing unpopular clients? The hypocrisy never fails. It's amazing. Reinhart was obviously a bad person and biased as a judge because he represented a victim of Jeffery Epstein's - but Dershowitz (a long-time friend of Epstein...

Trump Hush Money Case - Manufactured Crime?

🤣 Yes, he's quite famous for representing O.J. Simpson and Jeffrey Epstein.

Why Elise Stefanik’s vote against security aid for Ukraine matters

I've met her a few times, she's not that smart. I wouldn't doubt that she's smarter than Trump, but that isn't saying much.

    Peking or Beijing?

🤣 That's not true at all. China was never colonized. "Peking" and "Bejing" are two different romanizations of the same Chinese word, spoken in different dialects.

The legal system just handed trump the perfect excuse not to testify.

🤣 Do you think they haven't told him that?

The legal system just handed trump the perfect excuse not to testify.

🤣 This is amazing. By all means, go on. You didn't tell us what they rely on.

Trump lawyers 'losing all credibility' with the court

I've seen a lot of you guys post this in this last few days, and it's a little baffling to me. Anyone can sit on a jury and "be objective," to the extent a trial requires it. It is something most human adults are capable of. Anyone who says otherwise is just trying to get out of jury duty.

The legal system just handed trump the perfect excuse not to testify.

🤣 This is the type of gibberish that keeps me coming back to this site. Tell me more about what "desperate prosecutors" rely on.

The legal system just handed trump the perfect excuse not to testify.

"Perjury trap" is a very specific prosecutorial strategy thst involves getting people who otherwise don't have any criminal liability to lie to a grand jury, and then charge them with perjury. What you are describing is getting the opponent to lie on the stand - which is, of course, every...

The legal system just handed trump the perfect excuse not to testify.

It's not something they teach in law school - law schools don't teach legal strategy. Also, read your link. "Perjury traps" are a GJ strategy - not really something that Trump could be subjected to at trial, since he's already been charged. And there's a surefire way to avoid a "perjury trap"...

Final jurors seated for Trump’s hush money case, with opening statements set for Monday

I suspect that Professor Turley understands it better than you think - he's very good at telling a specific segment of his audience exactly what they want to hear. It's really not that complicated.

Final jurors seated for Trump’s hush money case, with opening statements set for Monday

Sentencing is more about quality than quantity. Any sentences would likely be served concurrently. I think fines and probation would certainly be on the table as a plea deal, but I'd guess a sentence at trial for guilty on all counts would likely be more than a week, but less than a year in...
