    The aggressor has the additional option of walking away or allowing the other to do so. The one who is being asked of only has the option to walk away so long as the one asking is using reason. As soon as that person chooses to use force. Then one's options are to allow one's self to be forced...

    It takes reason on your part to decide which treat/incentive/reward will convince the other to agree to do what you want. Not trying to nitpick but I just think that falls under the reason category.

    What Capster78 fails to grasp, and and this is evident in all of ramblings, is that people are allowed to have differing opinions than you. If you can't convince someone of your opinion with reason you simply walk away. He instead would rather force his will and opinions down your throat.

    It all depends on how you view marriage. I am happily married with 1 kid and 1 one the way. But I don't think a couple needs a slip of paper from the government to tell them where their relationship is.
