    Ford vs Chevy

Whatever vehicle this guy may own, I'm sure there's plenty of rust & dents. Also looks like if he does drive it's on a suspended license. Gonna go run some errands now in my Ford Ranger. If it was a nicer looking day I would get my Chevy Camaro out.

    $30,000,000

Considering that tax payers spent 17 million bucks in a month and a half for Trump campaign stops during the recent midterms and only reimbursed 121K by the RNC, I think we're getting our money's worth from Muller.

    Voting in disguise

I'm a cross dresser, so that's two votes for me right there.

    Any motorsport fans?

In 1972 Pocono Raceway was built 25 miles from my house. A 2 1/2 mile track with three turns replicating corners from Indy, Trenton, and Milwaukee built to host Indy Cars but in two years was hosting the stockers as well. Great days in racing with small crowds, fast speeds, and lots of action...

    Any motorsport fans?

I've been a fan of racing since childhood back in the 50's. Used to fall asleep listening to the sounds of racing from Nazareth Speedways 1/2 mile dirt track on Saturday nights. Names like Frankie Schneider, Rags Carter, and a couple of brothers named Andretti.

    (New term) Elder orphan

Usually every week in the local paper there is a small article titled DO YOU KNOW THIS PERSON? The reason for this is authorities seeking help finding family or even a friend to notify and turn the body over to. Just so sad that an elderly can die so alone that no one knows who they are.

So . . . how old are we all?

Joe Paterno was an assistant coach when I first started attending Penn State football games.

Home Ownership is Collapsing. What, if anything, should we do?

I realize a lot of people are priced out in markets in a lot of areas in the country. I also see a lot of young people that want their first house to be the type that the older generation worked up to after buying a cheap starter home and modernizing it then selling and buying a nicer home when...

'You just lived for the moment': Meet one of the last surviving female pilots who served in WWII

I had a Great Aunt that was a WASP pilot during WWII. She and others delivered aircraft from the factories to the coasts where male pilots would them fly them overseas. Auntie was multi engine qualified and flew pretty much everything except the four engine bombers. Very cool & interesting woman.

    Too Busy to Golf

Without watching the news I knew Trump was golfing yesterday at his Bedminster club in NJ. I live in Pa. at the edge of a 30 mile air exclusion zone around the club when Trump is in attendance. We got a 2 hour air show yesterday of F-16's flying below cloud cover so I knew Trump was golfing and...

    45th Annual Back to the 50s - 2018

On Fathers Day we went to the annual MOPAR show at the local Dodge dealer. Love the Dodge & Plymouth muscle cars of the 60's & 70's and would love to have a big block crammed into an economy car like the factories built for the drags in those days. Every Saturday night locally a couple of...

Can A Liberal Help Me Understand This True Story?

Never have called the DMV but in February I went to the DMV for a license renewal with pic. I figured maybe an hour of time to be wasted but was in out the door in eight minutes. Pretty damn good!

Tell us about your "early broke days"

In a desk drawer next to where I am sitting is a Transaction Register from my 1971 checking account. Looking at it you could see where I was paid weekly and near the end of month when rent was paid on my two room shabbily furnished apartment and bills have been paid there was usually less than...

You don't know what you got till it's gone.

I don't park anything outside. Heated & air-conditioned garage for my babies! Two bays are even carpeted. Sometimes I drive three a day, like yesterday. Used the truck for early morning errands, later the turbo, AWD 6 speed for a fun 20 mile trip on windy roads along the creek and then the river...
