Shattered

Note: Just as a point of fact, I'm a registered independent voter that doesn't politically align with either side of the modern liberal/progressive versus neo-conservative political war. I'm afraid I'm not much use to either side. And, of course, some of you are more sophisticated and better educated in economics than myself. That said, I do enjoy pouring over the available data and attempting to rightly understand the times (which is a prerequisite to making consistently correct predictions about the future... that is if you find yourself, like myself, lacking a functioning crystal ball).
