    Has anyone here microdosed mushrooms?

Microdosing mushrooms is honestly a wonderful way to garner a slightly euphoric experience. Finding the proper dosage is a little more challenging because at least for me it depends on the person/their weight/their tolerance etc. What gets me dosed and what gets my friend dosed are different...

New California law aims to force people with mental illness or addiction to get help

I'm very interested to see how this goes. I honestly think it is high time for something like this despite whatever push back might exist for it being "draconian".

Saw this...isn't this sort of how the US worked prior to the mass closure of mental institutions? Curious to see how that goes.

The US currently has no long-term budget, no ambassador to Israel, and no chair of joint chiefs of staff

"What they need to do is change their method of approving the promotions from Unanimous Consent votes to just a simple majority." This.

How do you mean? (not being sarcastic - looking for clarification). Dysfunction being the norm in the House will guarantee hard lapses in security and projection of power abroad. I really, really, reaaally hope Jordan does not get that gavel.

Blame goes to the Republicans for blockading this but blame also goes to the Democrats for thinking they can just pile drive nominations through. There should be bipartisan support on this because "we love the military" but the ransoming of this by Tuberville is absolutely foolish and short-sighted.

The lapse in a militaristic centered country failing to actually promote and encourage military leadership just makes us weak - which is the same thing Israel was going through before they were attacked...(in a much different way but still a major lapse in security). All because some dumb hick...

[W:1103] Netanyahu tells Israel ‘We are at war’ after Hamas launches an unprecedented attack on the country - Live Thread.

The likely collapse of Saudi - Israeli ties is going to be interesting to watch. It's a shame due to how unprecedented that seemed and how easy it was for Hamas (Iran) to completely derail that. I get that Saudi Arabia is a kingdom of evil bastards but some sort of balance in the Middle East...

Something, something retribution, something something, get even. I have a hard time believing that Israel will stop at Gaza. We shall see.

Yeah, makes sense. I do wonder if this whole event will severely weaken Bibi's political position. There's a lot of information being thrown around right now and the internet fog of war/disinformation shenanigans going on are massive. But, I do question if Bibi's government turning their...

Could Palestinians who oppose Hamas simply join with Israel to root them out and defeat them and then go from there? Or is that never going to happen because of differences in religion, past grievances, etc, etc?

None of this situation is cut and dry. Hamas is a hell-bent terrorist organization. Israel is an apartheid state slowly and methodically colonizing and settling the Gaza Strip. I remember watching videos of Israeli soldiers at Al-Aqsa Mosque and thinking how eventually this will bite Israel...
