    Meet Caitlyn Jenner[W:876]

I wish Bob, Henrin and others like them would just avoid threads like this. Their opinions are not valuable nor enlightening.

Re: Meet Cailyn Jenner Exactly. Circumcision. Tubes tied. Vasectomy. Removal of moles that aren't cancerous yet. Migraine treatments. Just to list a few

    Meet Caitlyn Jenner[W:876]

I remember being on a thread a few months ago where some conservatives swore up & down that Caitlyn Jenner was lying, that she wasn't transitioning. Wonder what they will say now that they are proven incorrect? Love the name Caitlyn. And wow - VF photographers are good! great pics of Caitlyn...

Check Your Long Distance Telephone Rates.

Yeah. There have to be switches and stations and things set up. We managed to land between three DSL switches; and are more than 18,000 feet from the nearest. They put a broadband accelerator on the line, and now we get 4.5 mgs download (before accelerator was 1.5 mgs). Costs us about $60 a month.

Check Your Long Distance Telephone Rates.

I have VoIP; didn't have a landline when I first moved here, but had internet thru a radio tower. Later, got the landline and got DSL. My download speed is 4.5 mgs; upload about 400K. VoIP is highly disappointing - if anything is happening - a large email, or a software update - it breaks up...

Re: Subway immediately fires employee who tweeted her happiness at cops being killed When you give a donation, you have to list your employer. Guess you can lie; I never have.

BBQ Restaurant Called Rubbin' Buttz To Hold 'White Appreciation Day'

I don't remember ever seeing someone giving discounts to black people for black appreciation day, actually. Took this guy doing it for whites for it to come up. Once again, whites get there first.

Yes, but mothers aren't a protected class in law, as far as I know

Religious institutions at risk because of Marriage stance

If they are taking no funds from the government -no pell grants, no title IX funding, no federally issued student loans, no tax-exempt status (i.e. they pay taxes) - then I don't care what they do But the op said they were worrying about losing their tax-exempt status. Frack them. If they...

Subway immediately fires employee who tweeted her happiness at cops being....[W:194]

Re: Subway immediately fires employee who tweeted her happiness at cops being killed Would the business have suffered? would anyone have connected her with Subway without the uniform? I doubt it. there are a LOT of subway employees

Subway immediately fires employee who tweeted her happiness at cops being....[W:194]

Re: Subway immediately fires employee who tweeted her happiness at cops being killed I actually agree with Bob here. Without the uniform - if she doesn't identify with Subway - not sure the firing would be nearly as justified.

Subway immediately fires employee who tweeted her happiness at cops being....[W:194]

Re: Subway immediately fires employee who tweeted her happiness at cops being killed As a liberal, I actually was against his firing. I didn't think one donation would necessarily affect his decisions at work; that those were what counted. But ultimately, it was up to Mozilla.

Subway immediately fires employee who tweeted her happiness at cops being....[W:194]

Re: Subway immediately fires employee who tweeted her happiness at cops being killed Well, I hope not. No one deserves to be punished for a long time for a stupid mistake that injured no one. My hope is she learned her lesson and will continue on to be a productive member of society.

Subway immediately fires employee who tweeted her happiness at cops being....[W:194]

Re: Subway immediately fires employee who tweeted her happiness at cops being killed I see no difference in the right of the employer to fire her for expressing opinions that the company doesn't want as part of their public image. Hell, if she got fired for being pro-SSM, I wouldn't like it...

Subway immediately fires employee who tweeted her happiness at cops being....[W:194]

Re: Subway immediately fires employee who tweeted her happiness at cops being killed Thought so. I imagine if she had posted something against SSM and she got fired, the conservatives would have been all over gofundme raising money for her. In this case, I have no problem with Subway firing...
