Yes because it’s goddamn delicious? What, do we have to eat food based on whether the company’s owners align with our political views? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Robert De Niro's Trump comments at Tony Awards go viral

Thanks De Niro, now we have to hear all week about how marginalizing Trump and his supporters will only help them and how no one was ever this mean about President Obama or President (fill in name here). Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Are far-right/white nationalist groups increasing or just getting more attention?

Considering there isn't much data I can find on this subject, I'm inclined to say that the media is just giving these people more attention. Of course, these groups have felt more emboldened--which you can argue coincides with Trump's campaign rhetoric and presidency--but I think once a racist...

Who would you vote for in 2020?

This. Still too early. I'm sure that "generic Democrat" will be Kamala Harris and honestly I don't much about her and her stances to have an opinion on her just yet. Is it official that Bernie is running in 2020?

    Is Trump a racist- bigot?

Actually it doesn't take a lot of thinking to come to the conclusion his rhetoric aligns with white supremacist ideals. If you don't think so, you're either not paying attention enough OR don't hold leaders you supported accountable. I was trying to find a better way to approach this question...

    Is Trump a racist- bigot?

My post explains exactly why I'm unsure. It's not as simple as saying he's racist or bigoted. He can be explicit, implicit, or literally not believe any of it just to pander to his base and their talking points. Who knows? What I'm unsure about is which of those three is it? What we know for...

    Is Trump a racist- bigot?

There's more to it than just this video: 1. If he was talking on political violence in general, yes, this statement would've been satisfactory. However, the Charlottesville issue was much different and was perpetrated and instigated--for the most part--by white supremacists, white nationalists...

    Solar eclipse prediction

This reminds me of what Neil deGrasse Tyson tweeted about it: I voted yes, and the times and locations will match the predictions.

    Is Trump a racist- bigot?

Unsure. There's a ton of layers to this. Is Trump explicitly racist or bigoted? Some may say yes. Could Trump just be implicitly racist or bigoted? Maybe. Is Trump himself racist/bigoted--explicitly or implicitly--or is it simply his policies that are? Does Trump actually believe what he says...

    They're Coming For Mt. Rushmore

I really suggest not posting Breitbart material as a source to speak on actual adult political discussion. No one is taking you serious if you do, just saying. Also should we disband the Republican Party then, since its supporters defected from the old Democratic Party and brought with it the...

Should White Nationals and worse be referred to in relation to "Right" and "Trump"?

Which is a valid question. We saw a plethora of conservatives condemning these extremists and its unfair to those reasonable enough to do so to group them into the WS/WN/Neo-Nazi categories.

    Impeach Trump?

As incompetent as I find Trump and his administration, it'd establish pretty dangerous precedent to just impeach a president over incompetence because it can very well be subjective (even though in this case, it's hard to argue objectively that Trump has been competent).
