    The two words "public accommodation" are not a magic spell that undoes personal property rights. Either we own our own property or we don't, the "public" is a collection of individuals.

    The problem is that they come in and are ferociously tribalistic. They have a greater tendency to vote/think along tribal lines which will eventually lead to civil war once the economy collapses.

    The people aren't trustworthy enough to raise their own children... but the government is trustworthy enough to raise the children of total strangers which they have no particular attachment toward. If the people themselves aren't motivated enough to care the state has even less reason to do so.
