    Because large cities dominate the county statistics for the counties that they are in. Unless you can think of a location where the murder rate is higher in the suburbs... Also, moving the goal posts from murder rate to crime rate doesn't do anything.

    As far as I can tell, only Hortman voted in favor of that bill. Hoffman voted against it.

    Hoffman didn't vote for the bill. They did apparently find a manifesto in the car of the shooter that lists targets. Hopefully they will make the shooter's motives clear with public release of documents.

    I'm just going by the last 40 years of watching the left wing lose their shit on news stories before any facts are in and filling social media and forums and water cooler discussions with their narratives only to have the rugged pulled out from under them when actual facts surface.

    When it's state and local politicians it could be anything. It could be a Comment about a foreign war that pissed them off, or a zoning vote, or pretty much anything.

    I haven't heard of any fatalities yet, but given the nature of the attacks, it's hard to believe they would ambush someone like that an not kill them.
