replacing coal power plants with nuclear power plants

The network is actually all interconnected. There are separate power companies, but they are all interconnected, and they sell power to each other. There is a lot of protection built into the network, such that if a line gets overloaded and starts sagging too much, explosives are set off to...

    Creepy or romantic?

The world is a sadder place because of these unfortunate stories. This makes the world more systematic, more bureaucratic, and we lose the human touch. This goes directly counter to all the wonderful heartwarming stories.

    Assisted suicide for prisoners?

Our dislike of suicide comes from our evolved fear of death, that we feel death is the worst, and that life, even in pain, is better than death, simply because in the past, we could reproduce as long as we are alive. Hu warns Chinese culture being 'Westernised'

Listening to rap music and watching Hollywood movies made the Chinese dissatisfied with their conditions. There is nothing wrong with Westernization, if Chinese culture has equal or even more exposure. Let the Chinese choose their own destinies, and in such, their own culture.

    SCOTUS determines Constitutionality?

Or rather, a person who kills someone is a murderer even before a court rules they committed murder. "Unconstitutional" is a state of being, whether or not it has been declared as such.

Should speed limits be raised or eliminated in certain areas?

Speed limits are a concrete reason police can use to stop cars. Aggressive driving is subject to interpretation, and happen in short bursts, that the police has to be at the right place at the right time. Speed limits are a bad proxy for aggressive driving, but it may be as good as we got.
