    Things you cannot say anymore?

In my industry, the graphics art industry, I can no longer say "AI". Used to be that it stood for "Adobe Illustrator", but these days people will assume it means "artificial intelligence".

there is a theory that Wyoming does not exist

Because Wyoming did exist, but it was lost to Canada during the secret US vs Canadian war, back in the day. "They", don't want us to know that the US lost. Or so I have heard. When I was in Army basic training, a drill sergeant asked a trainee where he was from. He replied "the Montana...

there is a theory that Wyoming does not exist

I'm pretty sure that South Carolina exists, if it doesn't, then I want my sales and state income tax refunded. I dunno about South Dakota though.

Trump leads Biden in battleground US states, WSJ poll finds

You mean like we did last time Trump was potus? When job growth during his first three years was lower than under Obamas last three years, and when four the entire 4 year term we lost jobs? Thats certainly not what I call "winning".

Trump leads Biden in battleground US states, WSJ poll finds

Thats true, but the numbers dont really seem to be budging much in either direction. I keep thinking that they will (any day now), but they just havent so far. Biden should be more than a little worried, and I'm sure he is.

I agree, but we may, as a society, just be that stupid.

    Disability for Mental Illness

I had the same situation. Antidepressants and mood stablizers made me worse. Eventually, I discovered that something no doctor will ever recommend, an d which is generally frowned upon, helps tremendously, and I use it several times a week.

    Disability for Mental Illness

You still have to have a prescription. Many online clinics do prescribe them, but they do have some sort of contact with the customer.

    Disability for Mental Illness

I suppose it depends on the degree. I have bipolar type two and have some depression most years, sometimes near point of being suicidal. However, I have never missed work because of it. Being busy takes my mind off of depression. I am very thankful for my job, I believe that work literally...

    Disability for Mental Illness

as an employer, I once ran into a similar situation. The lady said she could no longer do her job, we offered her a job as a receptionist, she turned it down. Fortunately, she didnt show back up for work, we we considered a voluntary quit and we werent forced to fire her. She did sue us...the...

Charlie Kirk: “I’m sorry. If I see a Black pilot, I’m going to be like, ‘Boy, I hope he’s qualified.’”

Not everyone is aware of the training requirements. There are a heck of a lot of people who believe that someone with no experience and no training can just apply for a job as a pilot and get on the job training from scratch. I actually had a coworker ask me yesterday if the industry was now...

Charlie Kirk: “I’m sorry. If I see a Black pilot, I’m going to be like, ‘Boy, I hope he’s qualified.’”

My son is a pilot. He is 30 and has years of experience, but looks much younger. I'm sure that lots of people have doubts about him also when they first see him also. I would. I think we have natural prejudices about people for lots of reasons. There are few black pilots, also there are...

PEROTISTA’S 2020 Monthly SENATE, HOUSE and Presidency FORECAST 1 July 2020

Graham in SC is definitely more vulnerable than most people think he is. Republicans don't seem to like Graham very much and he only keeps winning because he hasn't had a strong challenger. This time he has a very strong challenger who knows the political game very well although he hasn't...

OldFatGuy told me that he knew politics better than me...

Those voters won't be "axed", they will still be in a congressional district. AOC will likely still run in that district, and she is wildly popular, so I dunno why she wouldn't win again. Or maybe, she will just have to move to the new districts in Texas, after all, Texas is no longer a solid...
