    What you believe is in error. I have often used the parkway to bypass various towns in the area, and checkpoints are set up typically after dark. As I mentioned earlier, my property borders the parkway, and I have interactions with the Park Service now and then. I’m familiar with them...

    Not necessarily. One could be hostile to a particular idea and/or policy without necessarily being hostile to the overarching direction of a program, person, or other entity. Thus the characterization of the federal control being asserted in the OP is misleading. We aren't seeing mass layoffs...
