    The Biggest Problem With Education

I'd add, get rid of the Federal Dept of Education. I especially agree with you about vocational school, many skilled trades are hurting for workers, and they are paying very good money.

What GZ said in his interview with Hannity

Wow, there are some seriously delusional folks here who just want to be judge, jury and executioner. TM was a punk. He didn't deserve to die, but it is what it is. I will be donating to GZ to help cover his legal costs.

    Need for Education Reform

This is not always true. Maybe in certain high cost of living cities it would be harder to be a one income family. Most people today are financially irresponsible and are paying for luxury items, not necessities. Many families with SAHM's, like myself, maintain a debt free lifestyle and make...

    Need for Education Reform

I totally agree. I lean more towards college being unnecessary for most. There is a lot to be said for on the job training/advancement and self employment. College is overrated in my opinion.

    Question about after college.

That depends on the school and the Professor.

    Need for Education Reform

Vocational training is fine if it is voluntary and off the regular campus. As far as college, there is an unusually high number of high school graduates attending college. Most of them never finish. There are jobs out there that you learn by being on the job, but as we hear so often from the...

CBS finally covers the story Fox reported on 6 months ago

Whatever. You keep living in your fantasy world. I can handle opposing views just fine, unlike you as evidenced by your ad hominen attacks and your use of petty and immature terms like "Faux" News. :peace

Interesting. It didn't come across as even remotely humorous. I also find it comical that you are accusing me of being afraid of free speech. I am not the one who endorses brainwashing by being a professional educator.

Voter Attitudes Towards Health Care Plan Harden - 58% Opposed

That's really a tired old line of bull. If there was a vote today on whether we should bring back slavery it would be defeated soundly, with probably only 3% being for it. That 3% being some very ignorant racists that do exist, but aren't worth mentioning.

Glenn Beck Win Misinformer of the Year

Facts are facts. Why are people personally attacking him instead of disputing the facts he supposedly has wrong? Glenn is pretty emotional but it doesn't negate the FACTS he presents.

    Need for Education Reform

One of my issues would be who is doing the oversighting and deciding the standards. Do you realize that the majority of students entering Jr. Colleges must take remedial classes so they can be prepared for actual college classes? The educational system is a mess and if it is going to be fixed...

"Faux" is why people like you can't be taken seriously.
