What did you have for dinner? -Part dois

Spicy Peruvian chicken and loaded rice with blue corn tortilla chips. We skipped the jalapeños, and I added hot sauce to mine instead.

Consequences of "unfriending" someone on Facebook

I'd have to ask my wife, but I think that you can just block them without unfriending. There used to be a "see less of this" or "I don't want to see this." That's how I got rid of the injured dogs and pro-Tweety political bullshit.

Tesla to lay off more than 10% of its staff, Electrek reports

I guess that climate change denialists haven't picked up the slack to reward Elon for his effective far right wing trolling. He apparently Oopsed the brand a bit.

Governor is OK supporting an insurrectionist.

I miss my school days when shit like this only happened in third word countries and, of course, in Germany and Russia. Germany was "fixed" by then, though (at least West Germany was,) and you only had to be scared if you read After The Bomb. Now the authoritarian bullshit is happening here...

Food you liked as a kid, but no longer eat

Full sugar Coke. There's no net benefit except during the rare occasions that I need the calories. Milkshakes. Too calorie dense. There's nothing quite like a milkshake and a cheeseburger, but I rarely get that combo these days. Jawbreakers. Yeah, dental work is expensive enough, and I'm not...

    in case you like Nutella

If it ever happens, I have been wondering whether I can control it through diet alone without buying a lot of expensive medicine. It seems that this would require an incredible amount of willpower. For now, I am keeping my BMI in the 23s, walking a lot, and hoping for the best.

    in case you like Nutella

Sorry to hear that. I have been close to type 2 once. Back then, it was weight, which I fixed. If I get close again, it will be due to genetics / age. I hope that you are able to easily control your blood sugar.

    in case you like Nutella

It's ok. I guess that I didn't try it early enough to really get attached to it. Other people really love it though. I go more for peanut butter.
