    A quick Googling led me here. Several other sources cite similar numbers, mostly (all?) leading back to that source. They do have several citations at the bottom to support their calculations. But, like I said, it's unlikely someone waiting for a knee replacement died because of the wait.

    I can, and I do. I don't think it was the right thing to do, and his nominee should have received a  vote (not necessarily a confirmation), but the appointment didn't "belong" to Obama. The Senate is not obligated to vote on any nominee, even if they should in order to preserve comity.
