Man shoots Co-Workers in office building after altercation.

You have surprisingly little faith in the ability of determined people to kill their fellow man without guns, yet you have a cult-like confidence that the government, who has shown a complete inability to do anything about drugs in the US, will be able to curb gun violence with coercion based...

The infringement of rights hits a whole new level when private party sales are encumbered with regulations and fees.

"A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed." How is having to pay a fee not an infringement on my right.

So the whole indirect vs direct thing went right over your head? How has the indirect war on drugs fared so far? Drug use at an all time low? Addiction rates?

Because what you call an unlicensed dealer is a private seller. When you don't have registration or titling, it's impossible to enforce a point of sale law on private transactions. But you already know that, and when universal BGCs fail miserably, you'll be braying about the need for universal...

Directly disincentivize murder. There's no ulterior motive to the law.

Flawed analogy. Gun control is supposed to indirectly stop people from killing people by taking away their tools. Traffic laws are meant to directly keep traffic controlled to prevent accidents. I don't believe laws that are meant to indirectly coerce a certain behavior are a good idea, mainly...

read the rest of the paragraph. Most of those guns were sold illegally to begin with, and the gun shows they mention were selling illegally! Tell me again how more law will keep criminals in check

And how do you know that will reduce violent crime? The war on drugs has done nothing to reduce the addiction rate in the United States, despite mountains of legislation crafted under the same pretenses you espouse. Source

The article you linked makes no mention of guns being transported over state lines. Please try again

It is illegal to sell a gun to a felon or a mentally adjudicated individual...BGCs won't change that.

Income $13 Trillion Budget $3.7 Trillion

I'm not a strong proponent of the flat tax, but if all individual income is taxed at a flat rate, and you eliminate deductions, you don't need to tax corporate income. Otherwise it ends up being doubly taxed in the income-consumption cycle.

Sounds to me like you're describing a plain old grudge killing, not the rare mass shootings we have. At any rate, I avoid gun free zones, because I want to know that I can defend myself in case someone tries to take away my life. It's not because I hope someone in there will have a CHL.

You failed to answer the question, so I will ask again. Is it legal to sell a gun to a mentally ill person, and is it legal for a mentally ill person to buy a gun? Without establishing your answer to this, my responses to your other points won't make sense.
