    Switzerland is very heterogenous. It would be simpler for people to simply move to another state or country of their preference. It would be much less disruptive of the economy. People have been doing that in the U. S. for years (big sort).

    Prosecutors usually oppose such laws. If they can get death for molesting a child they are more likely to kill the child to eliminate the witness. They can only execute him once.

    The first says "no law" abridging speech, press, religion, establishment, press, or assembly. No law is no different than shall not be infringed. And neither of those is interpreted literally.

    In some proposals the flax tax would only start at a certain income level which would exclude most lower income. Currently, the bottom 50% pay almost no federal income tax and even get money back with various tax credits.

    One definition is that we pay the same percentage of taxes as our percentage of income. By that measure the wealthy is the only group paying their fair share of federal income taxes. The top 50% of wage earners pay 97% of individual federal income taxes.

    It doesn't limit abortions to the first trimester. The second trimester states can regulate, but not prohibit, abortions.
