    problem with evolution...

Electric impulses will always choose the shortest path, our actions, however, do not always follow the simplest route. The simplest route for me to choose right now is to shut off my computer and stop arguing with you. I will, however, not do that because im too stubborn. :)

    What future for Christianity

You mistake my meaning. I'm saying that the universe is so vastly complex that they cannot answer every question and besides this some answers are unattainable.

    problem with evolution...

This is all leaving the original argument. I said my first assumption is that we have a mind and free choice. If you would like me to argue that with you, I would be happy to. What I mean to say is that a mind cannot come from the physical.

Re: Still just making assertions... 1. I'm saying that the mind cannot come from the physical 2. I said earlier that I'm not trying to disprove evolution, only that it as a sole explanation cannot work 3. Yes, I'm a christian, and yes, I believe God created what exists. Possibly he did this by...

Re: That doesn't explain or prove anything Scientific literature - point me to this "scientific" literature. Am I incorrect in saying that this literature states that life came from organic molecules? Thats what I'm learning in biology.

    problem with evolution...

According to my what I have reasoned through my logic. Like a mind CANNOT come from molecules. Like organic molecules cannot in and of themselves make a rational or irrational decision The whole purpose of this argument is not to suggest another explanation, but rather to show that the one...

    problem with evolution...

NO, my problem with evolution is that it is impossible to explain certain problems using evolution no matter how you cut the pie. My problem is that it conflicts with itself and other scientifically proven data. Perhaps i should say that i am not trying to say evolution doesn't occur, but...

    What future for Christianity

The scientific voids continue to grow larger- every new discovery opens up a whole new range of questions, many of which cannot be answered through experiments.

    problem with evolution...

The problem is that the mind cannot have arisen through evolution. There simply isn't anything that it could have come from. It cannot even be a highly complex electro-chemical calculator. Our choices in actions boil down to what we want or desire to do. If it were an electro-chemical...

    What future for Christianity

I think it (as a whole) will dwindle due to the way christians behave rather than any scientific evidence against it. Eventually christians will recognize this and will change, and probably it will resurge.

    A question for religious folks.

Animals cannot understand the concept of right vs. wrong. Therefore, they cannot be quilty. The same is true of humans who are uncapable of understanding this concept (retards, babies, etc.)

    problem with evolution...

Assumptions: We have a choice in our actions Supposing that we have a mind (I believe we do because of simple introspection), how can we have arisen from mere organic molecules? Laws of science assume state that molecules will react to eachother with the factors being the environment and the...
