I have a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science, International Relations, with a focus on Latin America. I minored in Military Science.
I was a commissioned officer in the US Army, serving for 13 years both Active and Reserve. I branched Infantry and I am Airborne qualified. My first job on Active Duty was as a Light Infantry Rifle Platoon Leader. I have also had the honor of training at different times with the 82nd Airborne, the Rangers, and Special Forces.
I am now a volunteer with the Arizona State Defense Force Foundation, advocating for the establishment of the Arizona State Guard, as a State Defense Force under Title 32 of the US Code.
