Jesus is the one true God?

It's wonderful that you did have a nice day. I hope the same happens tomorrow. What will remain the same, though, is the fact you're in no position to dismiss the opinions of others, at least not in any meaningful impactful way.

Jesus is the one true God?

That would be Unitarianism, or nontrinitarianism. Jehovah's witnesses are a nontrinitarian denomination and as such do not believe Jesus is God. They consider themselves to be the real Christians. Their beliefs are solely derived from the Bible, or so they claim.

Jesus is the one true God?

The point is you don't get to dismiss opinions with which you disagree on a public internet forum. A self-evident point, really, one would have thought.

God is the answer; here are the questions

Given that the laws of thermodynamics and intergalactic alignment were not dependant upon Adam sinning or not, it's safe to assume God wanted life on Earth to perish even if Adam had not sinned. What a wonderful loving God. Let me know when you find life somewhere else in the universe. Sure...

Jesus is the one true God?

    You're missing a comma. And a point.

Jesus is the one true God?

That's demonstrably false. Jehovah's witnesses alone, being Unitarian in the doctrinal sense in which I used the term, or, more precisely, nontrinitarian, are around the 8 million mark. Additionally, not only do Jehovah's Witnesses consider themselves Christians, they view themselves as -...

Two big reasons my generation hates free speech

Save for incitement to violence, I'm all for free speech. I will defend the right of those who disagree with me to express themselves and proselytize. Currently, two enemies threaten it in somewhat equal proportions, the SJW brigade and the religionists.

Jesus is the one true God?

It is central to Trinitarian Christianity, which is not the whole of Christianity.

Jesus is the one true God?

I'm not familiar with Quaker doctrine. The most prominent Unitarian Christian denominations are Adventists and Jehovah's Witnesses. The point I wish to underline is this: What does it say about a book, the Bible, written in such a way that it lends itself to a multitude of irreconcilable...

Question to Christian literalists: Is incest wrong?

Why? Why is there no point for two people who evidently disagree on a topic to debate such topic? One might have thought cross-faith non denominational forums existed for that very purpose. You might think that this is a sensitive topic, one that attracts passions, and we might agree there, but...

Question to Christian literalists: Is incest wrong?

Really? Than perhaps they should move on to forums where only theists posts. Regardless, that certainly is no sign of confidence in one's apologetic capabilities.

God is the answer; here are the questions

No, he is not. He is outside time by your own definitions and axiomatic assertions. God cannot be subject to that which he supposedly created, time.

Question to Christian literalists: Is incest wrong?

So you think debating the morality - or lack thereof - of the OT is insubstantial? You certainly have that right, though after six or seven posts of yours one might have been persuaded otherwise. Because you would be an expert on the minds of those whom you happen to disagree, right? Usually...

Question to Christian literalists: Is incest wrong?

Anti-theism is opposition to [specific] theistic claims, in the sense it doesn't occupy itself with whether such claims are true or not, but whether such claims are defensible or not. As such, the view that anti-theism is per se "trolling" is simply absurd. Conversely, imagine my screenname...

Question to Christian literalists: Is incest wrong?

The question is really bothering you. Your evasion is entertaining. It is also entertaining to note the number of assumptions with which you try to cover your reluctance to answer a straightforward Yes or No question. Do the people who accept Genesis think that incest is moral or not? The...
