    I never said Kirk deserved death, merely that those he was willing to sacrifice to the 2nd Amendment had loved ones as well.

    To be fair, Kirk said that (paraphrasing) "having some deaths every year are the price we pay for the second amendment". Those deaths that Kirk routinely dismissed are people who had parents, spouses, children and others who loved them every bit as much as Kirk's family loved him.
