US hiring slows sharply in August as delta variant stunts job gains

U.S. hiring slowed sharply in August as the resurgence in new COVID-19 infections stunted job gains.

Nonfarm payrolls increased by 235,000 workers in August as the unemployment rate fell to 5.2%, the Labor Department said Friday. Analysts surveyed by Refintiv had expected the addition of 728,000 jobs and the unemployment rate to fall to 5.2%.

I will remind you that there were almost 159 million Americans working in February 2020 and there are 153 million Americans working today. States reopening are creating jobs not Biden or liberal economic policies all of which have been proven to be a failure.
