Zimmerman prosecutors sued by fired IT worker who revealed state didn’t show evidence to defense

By AllahPundit

Zimmerman’s suing NBC, Martin’s parents are (probably) suing Zimmerman — isn’t it time that someone sued the one actor in this case whose motives were most provably malign?

Maybe this is a first small step in sending Angela Corey to join Mike Nifong in disgraced-former-prosecutor obscurity.

Ben Kruidbos, Corey’s former director of information technology, was fired after testifying at a pre-trial hearing on June 6 that prosecutors failed to turn over potentially embarrassing evidence extracted from Martin’s cell phone to the defense, as required by evidence-sharing laws.

“We will be filing a whistleblower action in (Florida’s Fourth Judicial District) Circuit Court,” said Kruidbos’ attorney Wesley White, himself a former prosecutor who was hired by Corey but resigned in December because he disagreed with her prosecutorial priorities. He said the suit will be filed within the next 30 days…

The six-page letter, dated July 11, charges Kruidbos with “deliberate, willful and unscrupulous actions” that make him untrustworthy and calls his questioning of de la Rionda’s actions regarding the cell phone evidence “a shallow, but obvious, attempt to cloak yourself in the protection of the whistleblower law.”

We can only hope that all the evidence in this case will be exposed. There's no doubt in my mind as a result of Ben Kruidbos' testimony that the prosecutorial miss deeds are real and those involved should lose their licenses and should be tried for the crime. Did Angela Corey actually violate the Civil Rights of George Zimmerman by hiding evidence?

Corey should take the fall for this and her comments after the trial. But more likely, she'll be the next democrat candidate for office.

No wonder 3 of the jurors said he was guilty but do to legal crap they had to do what they had to do. Makes a tad bit more sense now.

Proving their previous thoughts were wrong.

Being guilty "by law" and being truly guilty are 2 very different things. If one uses legal trickery to bypass punishment he may still be guilty. Just not punished.

Are you claiming that the with holding of evidence by Angela Corey was not only Legal Trickery but a criminal offense in this case? There was no by-pass in punishment in this case. Even Rachel Jeantel claims that Trayvon Martin threw the first 'sucker punch'. BTW prove your statement.

Silly boy. She's not about to run for office when Holder has a sweet deal waiting for her.

Under the law, no they aren't.

It is the same as saying just because one is found guilty, doesn't mean they are.

There is no such thing as legal trickery. If it is legal it is not trickery.

And there was no such thing in this trial by the defense.

I thought they listened to a phone call. Then omitted it.

If 3 jururs thought he was guilty because of call and the court decides to go "ummmm wait never mind" you have to pretend like this hard evidence doesnt exsist at all? How fair is that? What if they decide that nothing racial may be presented. Then the phone call said "WHY YOU IN MY NEIGHBORHOO NIGGER!" he shot him then had his friend punch him in the back of the head to say he snuck up on him?
