Yes, it does appear that Russia has decided to seize the parts of Ukraine that contain lots of Russians.

It knows that the world did nothing but fume when it grabbed Crimea.

So when it now gobbles up another slice of the pie, there will be a lot of moaning and threats of economic sanctions.

But no one wants a war. Certainly not over Ukraine. (Or over Georgia, where Russia has already taken a piece.)

Oh, well, maybe sometime Russia will have a decent government and will make amends to Ukraine, but until that unlikely day ...
