THAT is where you fill in the blanks. It is about what's included but you cant really cover that adequately in your poll. It's not really.
Ours was in eighth grade. I would say that’s about right. At what grade level would you consider it appropriate?
Should the sex ed be inclusive or restricted to just the basics?
(excluding talk about sexual preferences, as an example)
Should it be allowed in school at all?
Vote above and have your say......
Yay or nay?
But how comprehensive? Any taboos when it comes to sex ed?Ours was in eighth grade. I would say that’s about right.
I would say that's a bit late relative to the onset of puberty.Ours was in eighth grade. I would say that’s about right.

One of the reasons why polls are kind of restricted, one would need to expand on why they made this choice or that choice. ;Age-appropriate sex ed doesn't even have to involve sex. It can involve topics such as good-touch bad-touch, negotiation, and consent. Why anyone would not want young people to learn about consent is beyond me.

Sex education is appropriate whenever Experts in the field of child development/ education say so, and its those same experts who should be designing age appropriate lesson plans. It may be as simple in grade school as talking about the differences between boys and girls ( or even dogs or cows if that is what works) and learning the right words for the right parts if that is what child development experts think they can absorb. At what grade level would you consider it appropriate?

In my generation it was appropriate around the 9th or 10th grade, included in Health Class. Not a specific sex education class. However largely it's the responsibility of the parents, and yes, the kids will mostly figure it out on their own.At what grade level would you consider it appropriate?

It's about being safe from disease and avoiding pregnancy. It's about the biological and medical aspects of reproduction. It's to set expectations and overcome old wives' tales like "you can get pregnant from a toilet seat" or "you cant get pregnant the first time," etc. To set expectations of what pregnancy is like and what happens to the woman's body and how the unborn develops.
I think in these days of Andrew Tate and all-too pervasive misogyny and non-consensual violence by young men with their partners, examples of what healthy sex and women's rights wouldn't go amiss.
I cant find out exactly. Certainly early - maybe around second or third grade. When do they start teaching it in schools?
Skolverket here lays great emphasis on consent in their web site."Consent" and resisting pressure (dont do anything you arent comfortable with) etc and women's rights should be a topic in many classesCertainly appropriate here. IMO girls need to be taught more to stand up for themselves, that they dont need to give in to pressure to get a boy to like them, they dont need a man to be "accepted in society." But to stand up for yourself is not unfeminine and girls need to learn this IMO.
But not enough choices given. Personally I am offended by you lack of inclusion especially for fetishes such as a love for barbie dolls and my extensive video collection of their commercials. At what grade level would you consider it appropriate?

While I agree children as young as preschool should be taught about molestation I do not agree that is about sex and sexuality. It's about perversion and dominanceYou start with molestation
