I know you have seen this but wow

For years, I and others have argued for body camera (and police interrogation cameras) to be used in every jurisdiction. Despite the obvious value of such cameras, jurisdictions like Los Angeles County have resisted and still do not have this basic protection for both officers and citizens alike. Likewise, prosecutors in cities like Chicago long opposed the filming of officers by citizens.

The recent controversy over a traffic stop in L.A. shows the importance of such body cameras. In the video, an officer pulls over a self-described teacher for using her cellphone while driving and is met with a barrage of racist slurs. The officer was only able to show his side in the encounter because he paid for his own camera. It is absurd that Los Angeles County forces officers to pay for their own cameras to guarantee a record of such encounters. In LA County, it is bring your own camera (BYOC) or engage in policing at your own risk.

It's easy to imagine why. Those cities are run by liberals and they aren't interested in defending the police. Therefore, no cameras that would show the fault being the minority protestor, driver, BLM member, ANTIFA, or any other liberal. Really getting crazy to be a cop in a blue city.

Sadly we may eventually hit a breaking point and yes, it will be ugly.

Would you want that woman teaching your children?

Do you have any idea how stupid your assertions are?

Across the political spectrum, the majority of Americans support the use of police body cameras.

If she was my child's teacher, I'd be making some phone calls. They wouldn't be positive.

I would hope she is no longer teaching as a result of this video.

See if you can surpass the second-lowest tier next time. Just because a source is questionable doesn't mean they're lying.

Wow! I didn't know the woman was Black due to her image being obscured in the video. I watched the video and was appalled by her behavior and her racist comments against the Hispanic cop telling him, "you'll never be white", and are "you jealous about my nice car". I assumed she was maybe white, but I was till appalled.

Now learning she is Black, this just makes this story all the worse. Worse I would say due to the virtual silence from the normal left leaning media. But now it makes sense; the woman isn't a White woman hurling all of those racist comments, so clearly this story will not fit with the liberal media narrative--- being that the Black people can't be racists.

ZeroHedge again, eh? Can someone explain why some random Bulgarians using the pseudonym "Tyler Durden" are considered credible sources?

Lol. What does ZH have to with what the racist black woman said on video? You have ears right?

This shit goes on every day.

Body cams help the cops as much as they do the people they encounter every day.

Here's one where the driver said she was scared, and harrassed by the cop. She even made a 11 minute video on social media about the event. But it turns out that the officer was acting very professional and she was being the ass a shown by the body cam video.

Where did you get this "info" that LA county forces officers to pay for their own cameras? Are you working on outdated information here? For one thing, LA City PD have had body cameras for a while, it is only LA County Sheriff's office that has been fighting with their board about getting them, getting funding, which they just got but it still takes time to procure, train, and distribute.

Also, why would you bother with a site such as ZeroHedge (trash) when other sites are reporting this, have reported this?

The L.A. County Sheriff's Department is in the midst of rolling out bodycams to all its deputies, but the deputy in the video hasn't received one and is using a personal bodycam.

They are rolling out the program in LA county to distribute body cams to all, but have not gotten them all out yet.

And Chicago PD have been wearing body cameras since 2018.

The officer in the video deserves more than anyone to be nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize.

If this woman had been white CNN would be running the story 24/7

The entity was right: The cop will never be Caucasian.

And neither will she.

Is that why she is so full of rage?

I was just about to debunk this too. No idea where they get this from. They probably read it on THE BLAZE or whatever.

Further: WHYYYY would LIBRUL marxists socialists not want pigs to have body cameras? IT’s usually police unions fighting their deployment.

Cons have zero idea what they want to argue anymore. They are just grabbing at any and all trees on t heir way to going splat on the ground.
