Trump Tied Ukraine Aid to Inquiries He Sought, Bolton Book Says
Trump Tied Ukraine Aid to Inquiries He Sought, Bolton Book Says - The New York Times
President Trump told his national security adviser in August that he wanted to continue freezing $391 million in security assistance to Ukraine until officials there helped with investigations into Democrats including the Bidens, according to an unpublished manuscript by the former adviser, John R. Bolton.
It's going to be difficult for Republican Senators to make the case now that we don't at least need to hear from Bolton. I say difficult only because the Republicans are completely shameless and there isn't anything they wouldn't do in the name of power so who knows. But if we can get Bolton testimony then impeachment becomes a toss up rather than the long shot we got right now.

Suddenly Bolton is a source of truth and light for the left.
Looks to me like he's just following the Comey plan to cash in.
Trumpsters, suck on this....
DIRECT EVIDENCE.
Fair enough, let’s get him under oath and let the people decide..

Wait...
A news report from an anti-Trump biased media outlet of a claim by unknown people that Bolton included some sort of statement in a book that hasn't been published yet...
...is "DIRECT EVIDENCE"???
Don't be ridiculous.

As long as we get Schiff, the WB, and the IC IG under oath, I don't care. Anything less, and It's no deal. And we get to use thumb screws, and you don't.
Agreed, since the impeachment is about the president, let’s start with those witnesses first.

I'll check with Mitch. He gets all his cues from me.
Seriously, there won't be any changes based on rumors from the NYT.
Agreed... Subpoena the book and Bolton and have him testify under oath. Can we get your support for finding out the truth?

But sure...ask Bolton to testify. I don't mind. Of course, all you are going to get is this: Every time Bolton is asked a question, he'll turn and whisper to his lawyer and then turn back and say, "I cannot answer that question because of executive privilege."

I am going to predict here that with this snippet we just got from Bolton's book, it doesn't change senator's minds. We'll need considerably more to change minds.
Remember that Trump can do no wrong, no matter what it is. !!!!!!!
I hope I am wrong.
So you don’t want to know if Bolton is lying? Why are you afraid of the truth?

I don't know if such a statement exists in Bolton's book, or whether It's true or not if it does exist, and neither do you.
