DIRECT EVIDENCE.
 
It's going to be difficult for Republican Senators to make the case now that we don't at least need to hear from Bolton. I say difficult only because the Republicans are completely shameless and there isn't anything they wouldn't do in the name of power so who knows. But if we can get Bolton testimony then impeachment becomes a toss up rather than the long shot we got right now.
 

I am going to predict here that with this snippet we just got from Bolton's book, it doesn't change senator's minds. We'll need considerably more to change minds.

Remember that Trump can do no wrong, no matter what it is. !!!!!!!

I hope I am wrong.

I don't think it's difficult for the Republican senators at all. The people that vote for them are massively corrupt and have no honor or integrity.

Why not subpoena Woodward's book? Wolff's book? Heck, there are a slew of book they can subpoena that have just as much credibility as a book written by Bolton...all written for the purpose of making money, I might add.

But sure...ask Bolton to testify. I don't mind. Of course, all you are going to get is this: Every time Bolton is asked a question, he'll turn and whisper to his lawyer and then turn back and say, "I cannot answer that question because of executive privilege."

Seems to me, if the House managers are concerned about convincing the Senators to vote to convict Trump, wasting their time is not a good way to do it.

(perhaps convincing Senators to vote to convict Trump isn't what the House Managers are concerned about?)

Bolton's lawyer confirmed that the manuscript was leaked. The only way he does that is if the information in the New York Times article was accurate to the manuscript. If it wasn't he wouldn't have said anything.

Bolton is recognized by the Democrat-Socialists a war mongering Neo-Con who espouses ideas that have been dismissed by the Democrat-Socialists for years.

Why are the reports of the words written in an unpublished manuscript now considered to be 100% reliable?

I don't know if such a statement exists in Bolton's book, or whether It's true or not if it does exist, and neither do you.

Why? The directive from legal arguments is as follows:

"When you stand well, stand still".

Or, as I was advised by my first Sales Manager as a very young and naive salesperson: "When you've made the sale, STFU!"

The Democrat-Socialist case is based on nothing. When your opponents are hurting themselves, don't try to stop them.

No. A statement by the former national security advisor that has been verified by his lawyer is direct evidence.

The trend continues.

Everyone that is willing to go under oath paints a nasty picture of how corrupt Trump is. The people that defend him are unwilling to testify under oath.

Wonder why?
