I have read that people who are trump followers often will not indicate it when getting polled by poll takers and this is one reason Trump is behind in those polls. I guess I wonder why. If you are willing to vote for him you should be proud enough of your vote to let anyone and everyone your choice. If you are ashamed of who you are going to vote for, then maybe you should not be voting for them don't you think? You do not have to tell anyone who you are going to vote for but you should not lie about it to keep from being embarrassed.

Judging from the hostility and polarization of our nation, I think its less about "pride" and more about not wanting to be attacked ( verbally or otherwise)for their voting choice.

Just my two cents.

Bumper stickers or yard flags are an invitation, regardless of the political lean, imo!

People voting for Trump aren't embarrassed or ashamed that they're supporting him. They keep their mouths shut because they don't want to become the next target of the unhinged left with their cancel culture SJW's, Marxist groups like BLM, or domestic terrorist organisations like ANTIFA. Nobody want's be harassed, attacked, have their homes or cars vandalized, or possibly lose their job. It just isn't worth the hassle, so they do their talking at the ballot box.

Trumpsters are not proud of a lot of things they do. Must be a miserable way to live

This is not new to 2020, the same happened in 2016, people were so polarized that mentioning support for trump was enough for families to break apart, careers being ruined etc. They found in 2016 trump did best in online polls and worst in live interviews, which indicates due to the extreme partisanship in america, people were willing to vote for trump but not openly admit it.

I will put it this way, in 2016 more than one person I knew got served divorce papers just because they voted for trump, if that does not explain how rediculously partisan this nation has become nothing will.

Let me know if you have heard any of these....

Nazi
Socialist
Bigot
Commie
Homophobe
Demorat
Republicant

America hater

lock her up
....................................this is what an outsider see's and hears constantly when watching the two main political parties; some folks may just think to themselves, "Its not worth the trouble listening to this, so I'll keep my thoughts to myself".

My only exposure to others is when I make a grocery/med run on Saturday. And I usually stop at a watering hole right after they open and have a cold one and a conversation with beer tender. I pretty much never talk religion or politics there. I have yet, in ten years of going to this bar have heard someone say that all Republicans should should be shot, die, whatever. But I have heard numerous proclamations that all Democrats should be shot, die, whatever. If you think this a battle of equivalencies, you are sadly mistaken.

My in-laws voted for Trump. I disagreed with that decision, but we tried to avoid political discussions with them on family gatherings and trips. It was not until they started attacking my family and in turn attacking me that my wife began to distance us from them. You make this sound like it is a one-way situation, but it happens with people who support both parties.

That's, basically, bull****.

I am sure trumpsters are proud of being racist, homophobic, religious hypocrites and fear mongers

I don't have to be proud of them. I just don't want them passing dumb ass laws that cut into my rights and my pocket book.

I don't know of any that are. Are liberals proud of being delusions liars?

i'll be voting against Tweety and Renfield.

It wasn't that long ago in our country's history where voting was a public affair... Everyone knew who voted for who...

As an American I am proud of our system and how's it's worked over the years. In 2016 I was proud to be able to cast my vote and participate in the best system ever devised. I was not happy about the choices I had, but selected the least worse candidate for President: Donald Trump. I did so because I decided of the two he had a better chance of working to improve the economy and therefore the well-being of my fellow Americans. He's an asshole, blowhard, crude, rude and nasty in many ways; but I wasn't voting on whether I was going to let him date my sister. I was picking him to do a job.

And, despite an almost continual demonstration of those traits, he delivered. I won't cite the amazing successes he's racked up, but he supported the classic liberal philosophy of free people, free markets, minimal regulation and letting people keep more of what they earned.

This year I KNOW what Trump can do, and I am proud to vote for him. And, yes, he's still an asshole, blowhard . . .

I have no idea what Qanon is or does. To me it just seems like a liberal dog-whistle that gets you get slobbering and howling at the moon.

Not true. I personally feel no obligation to tell anyone at all who I am going to vote for.

Ahhh.......like Marxism

Targeting the home, sign, or vehicle for vandalism, or the occupants for harassment ?

I do not know where you live but in my state it can be up to a felony to mess with someone's political yard sign, although there is a limit on long you can have the sign remain after the election.
