You probably don't know US history

He did say neither.

That isn't an option.

He has avoided the question for months now.

All because the concept of "lesser of two evils" is completely lost on him.

On one hand there is NK which is a brutal dictatorship then, now and for the foreseeable future. A wretched place where the average North Korean has suffered for decades. Starvation. No basic human rights, etc.

Compared with South Korea whose GDP, living standards, etc. all increased during the "brutal" dictatorships that followed Rhee.

Add to the the "brutal dictatorship" in the south gave up power peacefully.

Apparently a thread about US history has become a thread about Korea. OK.

I could recommend a lot of books to learn US history, but this one will go a long way to learning post-WWII US history globally. It's been excellent so far, even in the introduction.

They're fighting for our FrEeDuMbZ$™. Show some respect.

And more insipid Fledermaus whining.

More whining because you don’t like the answer you got.

Consider the source. William Blum is a known socialist and hater of the US who will lie about anything to make the US look as bad as possible. He especially enjoys doxing undercover intelligence operatives.

If William Blum said that the sky was blue, I wouldn't believe a word he had to say. Leftist pieces of shit are not even remotely credible.

Howard Zinn is yet another communist piece of shit who abjectly hates the US. Which makes anything he has to say complete bullshit.
A worse than laughable comment, because if you bothered to read Zinn‘s very well researched “A People’s History”, you‘d know that it isn’t his own words or opinions that are expressed therein, but the actual documents written by the overlooked, and often drowned out voices of most Americans who are not in power.

So much for your bullshit mal-informed comment.

Sadly, I haven't heard of a person discussing reading the book for discussion.
