It might make the public wonder what such a call is like. We can answer in some cases, because of presidential recordings - JFK, LBJ, Nixon - not so much most presidents. trump's calls it's clear are not normal, but now we know what one of them is like.

On June 10, trump said he called Newsom the day before, June 9, telling him he was nationalizing the National Guard and sending in troops. To quote trump:

"“Called him up to tell him, ‘Got to do a better job.’ He’s doing a bad job. Causing a lot of death, and a lot of potential death. If we didn’t send out the National Guard, and last time we gave him a little additional help, you would have - Los Angeles would be burning right now.""

To prove it to Fox Reporters, trump showed them his call log - and it showed he had not called Newsom since 1:23 AM on June 7.

Newsom revealed the call. He said trump never said he was sending in troops, never said anything like he claimed. Rather, he said trump talked about how good his nickname for Newsom, "Newscum", was, and asked if Newsom liked it, and that it was original. Newsom said no, as a child he'd had it said by another child.

Then trump said aren't his hats great, he's sold hundreds of thousands of them. Newsom was incredulous. Finally trump wanted to talk about his debate with Kamala Harris. That was it. So, trump had a delusional call about nonsense, lied about having a later call and what he said on the first call.
