Both Generals Conway and Petraeus have openly, repeatedly Undermined Obama's stated policies on Afghanistan. So far, Obama has stoically taken it.

When Gen MacArthur disobeyed Truman. he was fired, so that looks like Obama's only recourse. But he should do it now, today, before the maverick Generals influence more people to come over to their side.

To Gen MacArthur's credit, he took being fired like the good soldier he was, and not once did he blame Truman for anything... didn't even mention his name.

Petraeus and Conway have been nothing but compliant and loyal.
