I didn’t think you would understand the math.Sure. Except that large numbers of "essential workers" also are low-wage workers (think Biden's "black woman stocking grocery shelves". Here in California "essential workers" comprise over two thirds of active employees.
What you also don’t realize (or won’t admit) is that the primary driver of wage increases during the pre pandemic Trump years were minimum wage increases passed by state and local governments in mostly Democrat controlled areas.
p.s. California’s minimum wage went up 8.3% on 1/1/2020.
