I have long said that just like all of the other right-wingers, Trump has to watch FOX to know what to “think”. Unfortunately for us and the country, he is able to act on that craziness. Among other horror stories, there is a chapter in this new book called “HOAX” on the constant feedback between Trump and FOX: Hannity privately called Trump '''bats--- crazy''' and stress-vaped: book - Business Insider

A sample:
“Seeking an escape from President Donald Trump's rambling monologues over the phone early in his presidency, the Fox News opinion host Sean Hannity turned to vaping and stress-eating, a new book from CNN's Brian Stelter says.

"Early on in the Trump age, Hannity gained weight and vaped incessantly, which some members of his inner circle blamed on Trump-related stress," Stelter, CNN's chief media correspondent, wrote in his new book, "Hoax: Donald Trump, Fox News, and the Dangerous Distortion of Truth," set to be published by Simon & Schuster on Tuesday.

The book — an excerpt of which was published in Vanity Fair on Thursday — says Hannity told a colleague, "If you were hearing what I'm hearing, you'd be vaping too."

Stelter said he spoke with more than 140 staffers at Fox News and 180 former employees and people "with direct ties to the network" for the book.”

INB4 "Obama Deep State!", "Hoax!", "Disgruntled Employee!", "Illuminati Thetans from Space!", "RINO!", and all the usual deflections.

Why do you think Trumpists always shout crap like "TDS!" ? The reason is the same: most of them know that they backed the worst horse possible in the name of sticking it to the Hatred Libruls. They know Trump is a bumbling incoherent oaf, a "****ing moron", and the most corrupt/criminal president ever. But they can't admit it. They have to drown their thoughts in noise.

Hannity turned to eating and nicotine addiction instead, it would seem.

Really?

A book by Brian Stelter, CNN commentator about a commentator from the FOX network?

Filled with (as usual) "anonymous sources" asserting negative information about what someone else thinks, feels, w/e?

Yeah, that's totally believable. :coffeepap:

I’m not sure why you even bother saying this.

I mean let’s be realistic here.

There are named people who’ve publicly said what’s what with Trump, a lot of it being negative, not as if you give a **** about that.

It’s the same result, anonymous sources, named sources.

“Lies, Disgruntled employee, deep state, establishment, elitist” blah blah blah.

Trump told you to make sure not to believe anything negative about him, something you do with religious fury.

So spare us, perhaps this is true, perhaps it isn’t.

But your particular opinion counts for nothing, because pointing out it’s anonymous, so we can’t believe it is Pointless in the Captain Adverse context because even if its a named source, same result, every time.

Hannity must do more than vape. He's a nut job himself. But FOX does pay him well.

Hannity is super-deep state. Like Marianas Trench deep.

How does it feel to be so predictable?

There must be a handful of defenders who draw straws to see who is next to blindly defend any slight of the current administration........
