Yes, antifa is the moral equivalent of neo-Nazis
Last weekend in Berkeley, Calif., a group of neo-communist antifa — “anti-fascist” — thugs attacked peaceful protesters at a “No to Marxism in America” rally, wielding sticks and pepper spray, and beating people with homemade shields that read (I kid you not) “No Hate.” The Post reports how one peaceful protester “was attacked by five black-clad antifa members, each windmilling kicks and punches into a man desperately trying to protect himself.” Members of the Berkeley College Republicans were then stalked by antifa goons who followed them to a gas station and demanded they “get the [expletive] out” of their car, warning, “We are real hungry for supremacists and there is more of us.”
The organizer of the anti-Marxism protest is not a white supremacist. Amber Cummings is a self-described “transsexual female who embraces diversity” and had announced on Facebook that “any racist groups like the KKK [and] Neo Nazis . . . are not welcome.” The protest was needed, Cummings said, because “Berkeley is a ground zero for the Marxist Movement.”
As I have pointed out in several threads, just because you claim you are fighting nazis, does not make you a good guy, especially when you attack people of color, and transexuals as white nationalists, simply for peacefully protesting all while supporting your own stalinist murderous ideology.
I don't care to attempt to rank how ****ty different groups are. I only care that someone is capable of realizing that a group is ****ty and needs to be denounced. Trump teetered on this when he said there were fine people on both sides. Fine people don't go to Nazi rallies. Period. Someone could easily be mistaken for misunderstanding the Antifa crowd since they are fresh on the scen and don't have the same history of nazis. But the more I hear of them the more I hate them.
But I have no problem with people saying both groups are ****ty. I didn't know much about Antifa until lately but it seems that even though it's a small group that they are in desperate need of a reality check. They need to arrest any of them that use violence or threats period.
If only Antifa had existed in 1930's Germany. They may not be perfect in all situations, but any organisation which is anti-fascist or anti-Nazi has my general support.
Saying that you're anti-ANTIFA implies that you are pro-fascist.
"Fine people don't go to Nazi rallies." That is plain ridiculous. Fine people go to PROTEST Nazi rallies. And though Antifa isn't included as "fine people," there were undoubtedly many fine people there including the lady who got run over.

The lady who got run over was antifa, a member of the communist IWW. She went to battle, and battle happened, the scumbag who ran her down I hope never sees the light of day, but she was not as innocent as portrayed.
Do you have a link, by any chance?
ANTIFA is not anti-fascist. what makes you think they are?
Trump said there were very fine people on both sides. One side was the Nazi Rally. I'm not saying that people protesting a nazi rally are evil for attending. I'm saying that the people participating in a Nazi rally are sickening. I guess I should have been more clear.
See bolded text.
How many people have antifa murdered?
I was just trying to find stats on this. Can't even find a case of an antifa being charged with attempted murder, which is kind of surprising given how prone they are to fighting. I've seen some of the people who show up looking for fights with antifa members at these protests. Big biker dudes. Surprised more people haven't been killed.
Thanks for that distinction. The press, however, when criticizing Trump's comment, made no such distinction.
they've attempted to murder several. they support a murderous ideology.
They're challenging the system so they must certainly be cast that way.

They carry soviet flags at times, 100 million were murdered under it.,
They attack people who are not racist or fascists in the name of antifascism.
Which one of these is not true?
The only murdering you're blathering on about here was Soviet, did you notice?
The problem with these groups, like BLM, anti-fa, the white nationalists - all the groups I would consider extremist - is that anyone can affiliate themselves with them. They aren't centralized, have an official membership, or anything that sort of identifies them with a core faction.
An anarchist can show up at a protest and say they are anti-fa, and they do. Same with white nationalists.
Regardless of the monolithic causes, this all comes down to a culture of violence and intolerance. I look at what happened to Ben Shapiro in Berkley and it's disgraceful. When they won't even let political opponents hold lecture events in universities without trashing public property, something is very, very wrong.
