A bill introduced on Thursday by Democratic lawmakers would classify racism as a nationwide public health crisis - requiring two wings within the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) to address it, according to The Hill.

The bill - Anti-Racism in Public Health Act - was crafted by Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) and House Reps. Barbara Lee (D-CA) and Ayanna Pressley (D-MA). It is co-sponsored by Sens. Mazie Hirono (D-HI), Ed Markey (D-MA), Jeff Merkley (D-OR) and Tina Smith (D-MN).

"It is time we start treating structural racism like we would treat any other public health problem or disease: investing in research into its symptoms and causes and finding ways to mitigate its effects," said Warren, who masqueraded as a different race for decades - potentially depriving actual Native Americans positions at liberal institutions.

Election year antics! If Biden would some how win the election on November 4th racism would vanish from the United States! What a miracle......
It appears that black voters are leaving Biden and the democrats are in panic mode now that is why the democrats are attacking the police.

Remember what Biden said: "If you have a problem figuring out whether you're for me or Trump, then you ain't black," Biden said Friday morning during an appearance on The Breakfast Club.

Are the supporters of the Democrat Socialists really this stupid?

It seems like every day the loons in their leadership come up with something that is even more moronic and inane than what they came up with the previous day.

In passing, what IS systemic racism. What system? How can we identify it? What are the actual, real world identifiers of "systemic racism"? Who runs this "system"? Where is the Headquarters?

Why are racially imbalanced outcomes bad only if the benefits of the merit system, on which everything in America is based, accrue to the detriment of Black People?

Why are racially imbalanced outcomes ignored if the benefits of the merit system, on which everything in America is based, accrue to the benefit of Black People?

When can we expect to see NBA rosters that "look like America"?

Is the NBA racism also "systemic". Are the same "systemic racists", said to be overseeing the rest of America's systemic racism, also overseeing the systemic racism obvious in the NBA?

Why is nothing being done?

Basketball is somewhat racist let me explain. My son was a SF on a D1 lower level team. Growing up he was always welcomed in the gyms regardless of neighborhoods. Old man Waters at Cresnshaw HS was the best, love that guy. Anyway, he was always welcomed. One team, one fight. However, coming up through AAU all the way to college not only was my son, but other white players as well were passed over when a black player of equal skill (based on recruiting site analysis) was available. Bottom line, if you can play, you can play, and the players in the gyms welcome you. Especially when you show them white men can jump lol... Wow, derailed the thread I think

It won't be long before the left tries to gain enough power to haul away everyone from the right and put them into mental institutions, leaving only lefty voters.

That's interesting. I had a friend in college who was an undeniably gifted athlete.

He attended a high school in a Minneapolis Suburb that split due to growth while he was attending. The new Basketball coach benched him even though he was a very, very good player.

His new team was not very good probably owing to the butt hole coach. As it happens my friend's father was a politician of some note and asked a few questions prompted by the coach of his old school.

In the last game of the season, my friend started and played most of the game. He scored an excessive number of points and his team won by about 50. He never participated in organized sports again.

In our little college intramural league, I was an okay defender on a football team. I met this guy as he made me look like I was crippled trying to cover him. He was effortlessly tremendous in every athletic thing I ever saw him do.

In passing, he was not African-American. More like middle eastern. Spoke several languages. Really a very impressive guy. Too bad he ran into a small minded butt hole for a coach.

Victor Hansen thinks the same way.

Interesting. It is a tight fraternity.

The chance to be a 1% er is even harder for non- blacks. My son's hero was and always will be Kobe. His fade away was my son's go to move. He played pick up with Kobe and Jame Hardin occasionally. Other members of his team are in the NBA. Good times

We've finally come to that point in time in which White Americans have to worship the black man or else be persecuted.

You're right. Bring on the persecution. I will be surprised if they have the stones.

We do not need a special study on "racism."

If everyone in this country would act properly and knock off all the horrific crimes of violence, Americans would not be afraid of becoming a victim, and voila! the "racism" issue would disappear.

Problem solved!

Oh, they've 'got the stones" alright! In addition to the Federal Government itself, the blacks have all the powerful institutions behind them. The Supreme Court, the Justice Dept. the NAACP, the Congressional Black Caucus, both the Democrat and Republican parties. You name it. ALL America is backing the black man.

Then they should vote to label BLM a racist terrorist organization.

Hah, Why would the very Institutions that are working to empower the blacks, label BLM a terrorist organization?!

Wow!

I can't even imagine the quality of play that gains a spot a spot on an NBA roster. It must have been very enjoyable for you to have had the chance to watch him grow and develop.

Sounds like your son had the kind of elite talent that would have put him into that general part of the stratosphere.

Playing pick up with Kobe and James Hardin must have been a dream come true for him!
