We went to war with Japan. Japan was allied with Germany as a result we were at war with both.
Um... no. War did not exist between the US and Germany until 2-3 days after we declared war on Japan,

The United States did not get "sucked" into WWI. The United States was PUSHED into the war by Wilson, who had campaigned on the lie that he would not let the United States get dragged into the European War.

Don't get hung up on a word. My point was that we didn't start it nor had any obligation to get involved with it. Like WWII, our involvement in Europe's war was a choice. But the fact that they couldn't handle their own business facilitated a need to at least secure our own interests. Trades and economic stabilities were threatened as long as Europeans behaved badly. In this way, they sucked us in. That's all I meant.

You seem to hate Wilson. I do wonder what Europe would have looked like had we simply stayed out of their business. No Nazi? No WWII?
