And the wall is going to stop cartels from digging 600 yard tunnels that lead directly under warehouses in San Diego?
And the wall is going to stop Fentanyl from being sent from China to the U.S. Via the United Parcel Service?
And the wall is going to give DACA protections that will really last 3 years then be renewed, right?
And the wall is going to prevent illegals entering the U.S. on the Canada border?
And the wall is going to help Trump get reelected in 2020 if he's not impeached first? (this is the only 'true' answer)

This is why many "Progressives" tend to scare folks. First make X not a crime, then declare X to be a "right" and finally demand that "access to" X be subsidized by the taxpayers.

Snatching defeat from the jaws of victory is their thing, and that's what they'd be doing if they said "oh, ok, fine, we fold" after 30 days.

Prediction: IF they do that, THEN Trump does this again in several months, right around whenever the debt ceiling absolutely must be raised without any further delay.




He's only gotten where he is by using inherited money to sue less-moneyed contractors until their defense costs make an honest true defense not worth while. A bully hiding behind someone else's money, who also managed to bankrupt casinos. If he sees this works, he'll do it at any opportunity he can. First is the debt ceiling (which we'll hit far sooner thanks to his own tax cuts), and then there's another budget cycle.

If the Dems cave outright, I ****ing give up. There's no point.

Depends what they get for it. Permanent status for DACA and I do not give a damn about the stupid wall. I would be against spending any more on it in the future and once he gets his 5.7 billion and decides he has won, I don't think Trump will go after any more.
