Would the Supreme Court eliminating the Affordable Care Act be a "big win for the USA"?

This simply isn't true.

YOU have no idea how "good" our plan was or even why our insurer dropped it.

I know exactly how good our plan was, because when our plan got dropped (because it didn't meet ACA standards), THE COST OF OUR REPLACEMENT PLAN NEARLY DOUBLED.

We could no longer afford the "Affordable Care Act" health plan so we were forced to go WITHOUT health insurance for nearly a year.

And the irony is that we actually had to pay a PENALTY (on our income taxes) for not being able to afford health care.

Government needs to not interfere between a patient and his/her doctor. When it comes to health care, one size does not fit all

The only way to know if your plan was a good one is how much they would pay if you needed coverage. You don't know it your plan was good or not and a good indication is that a ACA compliant plan doubled your premiums.
Your insurer dropped your plan because they wanted to drop it. The ACA allowed non-compliant plans to continue if the insurers wanted to. They used the ACA as an excuse. The one size that fits all is that all people deserve good coverage for their premium dollar and the assurance that your insurer will not drop you when you get sick.

Doesn't matter a lick which one of them wins, except that Trump will destroy your country a little bit faster than Biden.
If you people had a clue you would understand that both Bernie and Trump promised a real way to fix the mess for the ordinary people. Only Trump lied and never really had that intention.
Have a good one!
I shy from debating politics with a man who does not live in my country.

ACA only works for a very few Americans. Democrats here informed me that union plans and medicare are the huge advantage plans.

If only there was some way to test whether the GOP would leave millions of people without a health care plan if given the opportunity by the SCOTUS.

This ain't it.

This ain't it.

The GOP has deliberately prevented millions of Americans from getting coverage under the ACA (while making every legislative, administrative, and judicial attempt to take it away from those who did get coverage). And now they're arguing that if the ACA is gone and they succeed in stripping coverage from tens of millions of people they'll suddenly be interested in getting people coverage?

Who are you trying to fool here?

No, really, this time they ARE serious, I promise

I wonder who fooled you?

I did not realize you are a true blue socialist and approve Trump not making it easier to be on the ACA.
Says the man who is using a socialized medicine program for his own coverage. Trump is trying to throw off 20 million Americans from their ACA coverage and you don't care because you have yours.

My coverage is the ancient Medicare system. As Democrats keep posting for the typical American he can't get his coverage from the ACA system.

Others and even you pointed out how few can make use of the ACA and the extreme difficulty in using the ACA program.

Do you recall how you proved how difficult it is to get onto ACA? You showed us a bewildering array of forms and conditions.

Tell us all again how easy it is to be covered by the ACA?

My 60 year old son can't purchase ACA coverage. Who are all those able to be covered by this failed plan you love so much?

All Americans benefit from the ACA's provisions and 20 million will lose their insurance if it is thrown out as Trump is trying to do in court. Talk about being thrown off your plan....

Actually, it is the States who are suing to abolish the ACA, not Trump. Trump wants to replace one unconstitutional law with another unconstitutional law. That will never happen. The States who are suing to completely abolish the ACA, and began their suit before Trump was ever elected, include: Alabama, Arkansas, Arizona, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Kansas, Louisiana, Maine, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Utah, and West Virginia.

ACA violates the 10th Amendment and must be struck down in its entirety. The federal government does not have the constitutional authority to involve itself in our healthcare.

You've convinced me! I'll support the Biden Plan to make premiums and cost-sharing more affordable for millions of Americans.
How can Biden make the ACA premiums affordable when many people are still out of work from the pandemic?

The Affordable Care Act is/was based on a lie: “If you like your health plan, you can keep it.”

Millions of Americans LOST their health plan. We lost ours. Before the ACA, we had very good (and AFFORDABLE) health plans, but our plans didn't meet ACA standards. So we got dumped.

The ACA needs to be repealed. Trump promised to crush the ACA during his 2016 campaign. He's had 4 years - - - he needs to make good on his promise to the people who want our health plans back.

I don't want the government to dictate the terms of my health plan. My doctor and I can figure that out.

When it comes to health care, one size does NOT fit all.

Please provide the source of evidence for your comment that millions lost their health plans. What health plans? What are you talking about?

Provide the legal case that states the ACA violates the 10th amendment. Not only is there no case law but you have fabricated a legal opinion that has no basis..

The same way Trump will in his plan that he claims he has and has yet to produce....was that a trick question?

As usual, CA, you spew a bunch of intelligent-sounding arguments to advocate for a change that will hurt millions of Americans.

What will hurt millions of Americans? Provide specifics as to what will do damage and how.

It should be clear to many by now that Trumpeters on this board talk in vague unsubstantiated terms because they parrot a leader who has NEVER enunciated a policyt in 4 years of office and limits himself to attacking people with personal insults and telling people what is wrong without ever providing specifics as to what is wrong let alone his own policies. It is past the point of absurdity.

The ACA not only creates more opportunities to get insurance independent of an employer, it scales the premiums to income. The Medicaid expansion and the marketplaces are where out-of-work people can get coverage.
