I like to imagine if MLK came back he act in the same manner as he was being portrayed in this episode of "The Boondocks".

FYI a black man created and was a writer on this show.

It is a completely different America now, so it is hard to say.

The MAGA chuds would have absolutely despised MLK and it shows.

I think MLK would have been ok with the premise of MAGA. He was about bettering America for everybody. He didn't spew hate and he didn't attack children for wearing a hat. Im not saying he would be ok with all of what goes on in America today but he had a very difference approach.

No, MLK would not have liked the Republican agenda under Trump. He would be appalled at the amount of wealth that has flowed to a comparative few at the expense of masses. He would be appalled at gerrymandering and voter suppression tactics eroding the voting rights act he worked for. He would be appalled at the erosion of workers rights. He would be appalled at the amount of religious bigotry today. He would be appalled at how gun violence has exploded. He would be joyous that a black man had become President in America. He would be joyous that many groups now work for social justice. He would be joyous that diverse people now go to school together, eat together, and are integrated in many ways.

Let’s remember that he traveled to the place he was killed to help striking garbagemen. He made America greater.

MLK understood that America was a great nation that has had fallen on tough times...

...he would remember the greatness of the 1950's America and wish to see it rise again.

You seem to know a lot about what MLK thought... did you know him personally?

This hatred is something that MLK would have despised...

If Jesus Christ returned, Trumpanzees would be running to fetch the hammers and nails.

No, and he would also be horrified by the Trump wall idea.

Yeah MLK woukd have loved to see black people calling white children "crackers" and "incest babies" He would have loved to see that smiling white kid in a MAGA hat be targeted with violence by the left for having the audacity to be white while smiling and resisting the antics of the lefties trying to provoke him into violence with a drum in his face. Eyeroll...what are they teaching kids in school now...sad.

Who here thinks MLK would have supported todays violent protests?

Who here thinks MLK would have supported calls for violence against white children simply for smiling while standing peacefully?

Who here thinks MLK would think black people shouting "cracker" at white kids was a good thing?

Step forward and lets play who has read more about MLK.

let's see. would MLK be okay with a leader that said that there were good people on both sides in Chancellorsville.

i'm gonna go out on a limb and say no.

based on what?

On what you ask? Because of his own words.

He talked about the Berlin wall and said:

“For here on either side of the wall are God’s children and no man-made barrier can obliterate that fact. Whether it be East or West, men and women search for meaning, hope for fulfillment, yearn for faith in something beyond themselves, and cry desperately for love and community to support them in this pilgrim journey.”

What Martin Luther King Jr. Said About the Berlin Wall | Time

And about nationalism he said the following:

In “The False God of Nationalism,” he argues that God and nationalism are “incompatible” and asks, “Will we continue to serve the false god of racial prejudice or will we serve the God who made of one blood all men to dwell upon the face of the earth.”

So clearly he did not believe in nationalism like Trump proposes nor did he agree with building walls to separate human beings.

What did he say about people on the other side of the wall killing us?

He was a man who detested violence, but it seems you are unwilling to accept his views on walls, what a surprise.

The berlin wall was meant to keep people in. That was the problem.
