I especially got a chuckle from this quote...

One Frenchman, teacher Jean-Pierre Charpemtrat, 53, said it was about time U.S. voters figured out what much of the rest of the world already knew.

"Americans are realizing that you can't found the politics of a country on patriotic passion and reflexes," he said. "You can't fool everybody all the time -- and I think that's what Bush and his administration are learning today."

MADRID, Spain (AP) -- The seismic shift that midterm elections brought to Washington's political landscape was welcomed by many Wednesday in a world sharply opposed to the war in Iraq and outraged over the harsh methods the Bush administration has employed in fighting terrorism.

From Paris to Pakistan, politicians, analysts and ordinary citizens said they hoped the Democratic takeover of the House of Representatives would force President Bush to adopt a more conciliatory approach to the globe's laundry list of crises, and teach a president many see as a "cowboy" a lesson in humility...

The French thinks it's a good thing. That alone tells you that your heading down the road to shame and weakness. ye ha... can we start hiding from the terrorist now or just bring out the checkbooks and try to apease them first. I can feel this country growing weaker and more vulnerable as we speak. But as long as terrosu and appeasers think it's a good idea then ye haaaaaaaaa

Right, now why don't you join Donald Rumsfeld and all the other defeated "old Republicans" at some restaurant and do 'lunch'.

You all can discuss the fine points on how how terrorists will soon attack our great country and how it is the end of America as you see it!

Na .. I'm not a republican, So I got no real reason to dine with them.

Your same dumb *** comments were being said as the plans were eing made to kill a few thousand Americans I have no doubt. And to assume that there won't be another plan put into place at some point is foolish.

So grab your fightless appeasing friends and have a little breakfast so you talk over what hole your going to hide your head or what its going to take to make your buddies in the ME with the IED's happy.

Great! The democrats were elected. So ****ing what, what do you expect to happen? A pull out of Iraq? Please, don't be so naiive.

Yes, I expect a pull out of Iraq, eventually, sooner than later with the Democrats in power. We will give them a timeline, a benchmark, an ultimatum, "get your ****ing act together or else" we tell them.

If they don't, we pull the hell out... the hell with them, let them kill each other, let them blow themselves up to smitheereen! If that's what they want.

Better them than our troops, don't you agree?

You're better then this CC.
The last 4 years this country has gone around showing brute force and acted "strong". But that act tore this country apart. Going around the world being the bully only attracts more resentment that leads to more antiamerican sentiment. That is not who we are at all. There is a big diference between strength and being a arse.
A good general can force the surrender of an enemy simply by showing up at the enemy's doorstep.
A great general would not have any enemies that dare to go up against him or declare war against the country s/he is of. - Sun Tzu

I know you agree that had we stayed in Iraq and not pulled just a half assed job the Taliban would be non-existant today - perhaps we might even have OBL. But no, we turned out attention around to Iraq and lost focus of the real goals. We need both sides of the isle working together CC.

i dont think that israel was so happy with the dem takeover in congress... so its not all peachy around the world.

the title should read

"terrorist reaction: Democratic win welcomed"

hopefully the dems will prove me wrong. I pray they will prove me wrong. I seriously doubt they will prove me wrong.

Israel has more to lose from escalation of warefare and anti-west sentiment in the Middle East than anyone.

Nancy Pelosi says...

BOO!

"terrorist reaction: Democratic win welcomed"

what's that I smell??? Oh yes, more useless overused rhetoric by the party that has failed miserably in the war on terror.

BTW,

!!! 7000+ Americans DEAD !!!
(3,000 on 9/11 due to 8 years of innaction by democrats........ 2,800+ in Iraq due to the actions of terrorists supported by democrats. 1,600 in Katrina mainly in a state and city run by, you guessed it, democrats)
National debt: $8.18 Trillion and counting due to fighting wars the democrats refused to fight.
Osama bin Laden still on the loose after the democrats allowed him to plan and carry out the biggest attack ever on American soil.

Is this a ****ing joke?? That is some **** I'd expect from KidRocks, Billo, Hipsterdufus, or Jfuh but not from a geniuine conservative. The fact that you're dead serious about blaming democrats about everything is just ****ing hilarious.

The democrats have offered no plan whatsoever. They were elected not because they resemble anything organize like a party, but because they claim their against the war. Once they get on the hill however, ****'ll change. Big difference between saying we should pull out, and actually doing it. The democrats are to weak to do the later.

Better them than our troops, don't you agree?

Better no one.

There isn't anyone on this planet that can prove anything to you!
