Works for Me, But I’m Undemanding: The Trump Agenda for the 2nd Term

Trump’s first term in office, the President’s re-election campaign today released a set of core priorities for a second term under the banner of “Fighting for You!” President Trump’s boundless optimism and certainty in America’s greatness is reflected in his second-term goals and stands in stark contrast to the gloomy vision of America projected by Joe Biden and Democrats.

Of course you did because a positive agenda doesn't resonate with the gloom and doom liberals. This is a debate forum and you are incapable of doing that so just proved it. the pie in the sky post shows just how out of touch you are with reality and how the actual Republican Agenda differs from your vision for America.

That and the fact that there is no indication that they will change their xenophobic nationalist policies

These are just words from a known liar.

The progressive, liberal, socialist ideology is a fraud forced on the American people using rhetoric to appeal to the heart and generating results that imprison people destroying their individual freedoms and rights. Keep buying the liberal rhetoric showing exactly how dependent you are on liberalism for basic personal responsibility issues

The determined dishonesty and brazenly open criminality doesn't work for me...

Facts are impervious to partisan propaganda. Where the rubber meets the road. ....:

First Trump Admin. fiscal year began 10/01/17. In the prior fiscal year, debt increase was $671 billion. Stock buybacks by publicly traded corps., post late 2017 corporate tax cut amounted to $2 trillion by the end of 2019. Capital investment actually declined in the same period.

Pre-Trump, debt increased an average $56 billion per month
During the 29 months between 10/01/2017 and 02/25/2020, average monthly debt increase = $108 billion

The corporate stock buybacks stimulated only this.:

Trump touts stock market's record run, but who benefits?

..While pensions and retirement funds were lifted by the rise in stock markets, the president has avoided talking about one key point about who really benefits when the market rallies: Most of the gains go to the small portion of Americans who are already rich.

That’s because 84% of stocks owned by U.S. households are held by the wealthiest 10% of Americans, according to an analysis of 2016 Federal Reserve data by Edward Wolff, an economics professor at New York University. So when the stock market has a blockbuster year - such as the nearly 30% rise in the S&P 500 benchmark index in 2019 - the payoff primarily goes to people who are already rich.

Rather, they expanded hiring over time, viewing wages as a variable cost, while utilizing the existing capital stock more intensively.

Thereafter, capital expenditures slowed in 2015 amid plummeting oil prices but recovered in 2017 in anticipation of passage of the TCJA. But the impact proved fleeting, as businesses scrapped spending plans in 2018-19 due to heightened uncertainty from the U.S.-China trade conflict. Instead, mainstream businesses used the savings for share buybacks and dividends. ..

Conclusions: Trump presides over a huge wealth transfer to the already wealthiest who happen to be the important Trump party donors
who direct Trump's and McConnell's priorities.. notice how little else has actually been passed by the senate and signed by Trump of any significant
economic benefit to the bottom 90 percent.

Trump ramped up the rate of debt increase because the tax cuts did not actually stimulate the economy, the extra $52 billion federal borrowing
PAID FOR the tax cuts, temporarily. EVERYBODY OWES A PIECE OF THAT DEBT INCREASE, but only the wealthiest primarily benefited from the personal and corporate tax cuts.

So, the increased rate of debt accumulation amounts to a large campaign contribution to Trump.
Look how impressed you were, pre-covid-19 pandemic. You're reassured..."How could Trump be racist, look what he's doing for blacks"!
And, how could you possibly be supporting Trump, influenced by his alleged xenophobic, racist talk and walk (policies).
So.. win! MAGA. The truth is, the bottom 90 percent would have been much better off if Trump-Putin had not wrested victory from Hillary and the lower debt, lower wealth concentration, more stable economic policies of Obama-Biden had continued until now. Check out Trump's duplicity and dishonesty related to his "Hot air" affordable health insurance promises since 2016.

What is most troubling is this thread's author has been exposed, by me, to all of the above, verifiable facts, but elects to ignore them and instead,
"worship at the altar" of concentrated wealth that finances the "starve the have nots" and loot what little they, the top few percent, don't already own.

[h=3]We All Have a Stake in the Stock Market, Right? Guess Again ...[/h]www.nytimes.com › Business › Economy

Feb 8, 2018 - A whopping 84 percent of all stocks owned by Americans belong to the wealthiest 10 percent of households. And that includes everyone's stakes ...

[h=3]What percentage of Americans own stocks? - PolitiFact[/h]www.politifact.com › factchecks › sep › ro-khanna › what-percentage...

Claim: "Most Americans don’t own stocks."
Claimed by: Ro Khanna

The accompanying graph details the "distribution of stock ownership by wealth percentile," specifically 84 percent for the "top 10 percent," 9.3 percent for the "next 10 percent" and 6.7 percent for the "bottom 80 percent."

But even that is not enough for "Conservative", a fella listing his own location in a county with per capita income of less than $20,000 annually...
he chooses to begin his thread with scapegoating nonsense directed at the critics of this atack against representative government, replaced by "bought and paid for" grim reaper McConnell, "legislating" exclusively for extreme right oligarchy.

And exactly what was the Democratic Stimulus cost for the pandemic? 3 1/2 years of anti Trump rhetoric and attempts to remove him from office and still some incredible results generated pre pandemic.

We have a choice in November, I posted the Trump agenda, what is it in the Biden Agenda that you support and why? You keep promoting the left rhetoric showing exactly how little you know about civics and the budget of the United States. The PRO American Agenda vs. the anti American Agenda is on full display! The Positive Trump agenda vs the Gloom and doom liberal agenda is the choice we have in November. Obviously you prefer being negative than ME

No, what is most troubling is the fact that people like you still buy into the liberal agenda totally ignoring the reality of the Constitution and the opportunities we have in this country. Equal opportunity NOT equal outcome is what OUR FOUNDERS created but your negative anti American rhetoric will always dispute that history

It is stunning how poorly informed you are on civics, history, and economics.

You going to explain to us the role of the state and local government?

You going to explain why you believe state and local taxes should be deducted from federal returns?

You going to explain to us who controls the activities within the cities and states?

You going t explain to us how some rich person prevented you from joining them?

You going to explain how a 1.48 trillion dollar discretionary budget controlled by the President funded by over 2 trillion in FIT, CIT, Excise taxes causes trillion dollar deficits?

Show some intellectual honesty for the first time in your life explaining why you are supporting Biden/Harris and answering those questions above

I reside along roughly the same latitude as you, in a county in which the majority voted for Clinton in 2016.
The demographics here do not feature a poverty plagued, overwhelmingly white majority.

I rounded these numbers, to preserve anonymity, but did not increase them.....

....The racial makeup of the county was 49.4% White....The median income for a household in the county was $62,000 and the median income for a family was $69,000. Males had a median income of $49,000 versus $40,000 for females. The per capita income for the county was $27,000.

You've been brainwashed by the best of them, Koch Industries, Robert Mercer, Donald Trump, Rush, and Newt, Murdoch & his TV 0ersonalities.... and the disgraced
"cuck" who heralded Trump as "the blue collar billionaire" in January, 2016.... whatever the hell that is supposed to mean?

So, uh...where's the part about making Mexico pay for the wall?

Yes, I am really sure this is at the top of your list of important issues in the upcoming election. You like far too many ignore the costs of illegal immigration and when those costs drop because of the wall, that indeed does pay for the wall. You take that to the polls in November and see how it turns out vs the other issues like JOBS! National security!!, Law and Order!!

I missed where the trump agenda mentioned killing off SS, Medicare, ACA, DACA or trumps new healthcare coverage he promised weeks ago....is this a partial list of trump objectives?

How, on God's green earth, do the residents of your county relate to such pathetic BS?
Aren't there schools there that turn out any graduates who pursue their families' best interests, instead of the Koch bros. best interests?

Heflin, Alabama - Wikipedia
Heflin is a city in Cleburne County, Alabama, United States.

Cleburne County, Alabama - Wikipedia
....The median income for a household in the county was $30,820, and the median income for a family was $35,579. Males had a median income of $29,752 versus $18,840 for females. The per capita income for the county was $14,762. About 10.90% of families and 13.90% of the population were below the poverty line, including 16.10% of those under age 18 and 20.10% of those age 65 or over. ...

Pathetic BS?? No, sorry don't listen to the liberal rhetoric but rather the data coming from bls.gov, bea.gov, and treasury.gov. You think it is the federal governments responsibility to guarantee you an income? Do you have any understand of what cost of living is?

I really suggest you take a civics and economic course to define the role of the state and local government along with a true definition of cost of living. Would love to have some liberal explain to us all how they justify deducting their high state and local taxes from their federal return reducing their federal tax liablity?

You have lost this debate and show intellectual dishonesty in your posts that have no context and just spout liberal talking points

Yes, yes, I'm well aware that some of you will be turning out to beg for Trump branded fascism. I'm just laughing at anyone who believes a word that comes out of that liar's mouth. Of course you missed the point...

Right, that agenda is full of fascist ideas and polices, ROLFMAO. your radical liberalism ideology is nothing more than gloom and doom promoting the dark side of America. You totally ignore results and buy rhetoric believing that what Trump says is more important than the results generated. Trump's lies were called mistakes when Obama uttered his lies but you keep buying the rhetoric and I will keep promoting a positive economic and foreign policy agenda.

I missed it to, please point to the policy decisions and legislation to do that? Personal responsibility doesn't exist in your world, does it? Makes it rather hard for someone living in TX!

A stable, consumer society cannot maintain under the pre-pandemic Trump model.

The government had been borrowing $108 billion each month on average, 10./01/2017 through 02/25/2020....

And the Trump party, 2017 Tax legislation made this more acute....

Right, the pre pandemic economic results were 6.6 million jobs created, 900 billion dollars per year GDP DOLLAR Growth, historic low African/Hispanic American unemployment, and historic low part time jobs for economic reasons. Additionally charitable giving and state and local revenue generations set records. you have no idea what you are talking about still focused on median income as if the individual has no impact on that and no responsibility to generate

You keep promoting class envy, jealousy, and wealth redistribution all because you choose not to compete in the private sector economy. Posting charts showing percentage of wealth owned doesn't recognize that we don't have a finite economy, we have a growing economy which liberalism and people like you don't understand. You have no one else to blame but yourself for your share of the U.S. wealth

Honestly, normally I'd have something snarky to say here, but the fact that you're talking about results in 2020....I....yeah, I just got nothing...

Results of 2020 are exactly what you wanted, an economic shutdown to stop the spread of the virus generating results that you could use to blame Trump for. It never was about the virus but just scoring political points against the President. that isn't working, our economy is recovering due to basic economic principles, Biden's tax plan will shut that down just like all other liberal economic policies of promoting the public sector ignoring the private sector

Is there something in the Liberal DNA that prevents people like you from admitting when wrong? What is it about liberalism that creates this kind of loyalty? Will never understand how so many people and be so full of gloom and doom living in a great country like ours. Continued focus on all the negativity doesn't allow for creation of positive results. Looking at the Biden/Harris agenda vs. Trump cannot help but notice how the left when challenges runs and hides sticking to their liberal talking points on other anti Trump threads. Thought this was a debate forum but not with liberals who make it a propaganda forum and one of promoting politics of personal destruction

Strong endorsement for Biden-Harris in there.

LOL, where?? Being blinded by the liberal ideology doesn't recognize we are a private sector economy neither does Biden/Harris. Strong endorsement would be a positive agenda not one promoting gloom and doom like your ideology does
