Words/Phrases you want to die in 2021 --- NO POLITICS

anarcho-socialism

heard way too much by me this year from people that are just propagandists and nothing more.
I don't hear it constructed quite that way. "Anarcho-communism" is more common, mainly because that's how the groups in question literally describe themselves! They openly proclaim themselves to be either "communist" or "anarchist", and they organize together, march together, etc.

So to be upset by it, is to be upset by the reality of it, which I can completely understand BTW, as it's upsetting and disturbing to me that our educational and media institutions have FAILED to accurately, honestly and properly DENOUNCE these evil, misguided ideologies in the same way Naziism has LONG been denounced!

Yeah, it's not about death. :ROFLMAO:
Oh, really? Damn, I guess my assumption was "less positive and lively" than reality....

"Chocolate Cake"

I am SO done with that!!

Really!? What about GERMAN chocolate cake, is that more acceptable? It's not "quite" the same thing, but still tastes fantastic, as long as they don't skimp on the frosting(which IS a common problem with that type of cake)!

Ah, so it has a meaning that actually applies to NON-corpses! Thats so uplifting! It would tend to be difficult to teach dead people(although they are historically good at voting)!

How is gaslighting overused as a word? I would like to see less gaslighting, but haven't seen it overused, but ymmv.

and how about that one instead...getting rid of that expression: "ymmv" ?

I agree 100%. I'm more concerned with wanting to see less actual gaslighting, than seeing people use the word "gaslighting" less. It's like having more of a problem with people using the term "gang violence", than having a problem with the actual "violence" caused by "gangs" that leaves thousands dead or permanently injured! WTH...

"Lets unpack this"

When some **** says that in a business meeting I want to stab them with my Montblanc in the throat.

It IS both offensive and ridiculous for someone to suggest a desire to lift up the tallest mountain in the Alps, and stab someone with it! Who said it? Was it Paul Bunyan or Godzilla? I also find it incredibly narcissistic and selfish for the person to refer to the mountain as "MY" Mont Blanc....

We should change it to 'your morals may vary.'

Montblanc.

Montblanc.

I "may" have accidentally(or intentionally, for poorly planned comedic reasons) separated the words Mont & Blanc, where they SHOULDN'T have been separated.... Giving it a different meaning.

I don't know what it is, but it sounds special.
