ROME, Ga./PHILADELPHIA (Reuters) - President Donald Trump cast doubt on the integrity of the U.S. election again on Sunday, saying a vote count that stretched past Election Day would be a “terrible thing” and suggesting his lawyers might get involved.

With two days to go until Tuesday’s election and trailing Democratic rival Joe Biden in opinion polls, Trump raced through battleground states in a late hunt for support, while Biden implored attendees at two rallies in the pivotal state of Pennsylvania to get out and vote.

Americans have rushed to vote early, already casting nearly 60 million mail-in ballots that could take days or weeks to be counted in some states - meaning a winner might not be declared in the hours after polls close on Tuesday night.

“I don’t think it’s fair that we have to wait for a long period of time after the election,” Trump told reporters before a rally in North Carolina. Some states, including Pennsylvania, do not start processing mail-in votes until Election Day, slowing the process.

Who cares what Trump thinks or feels? This is the way presidential voting has always gone.

States care. That is is why several are segregating their mail-in ballots based on when they are received in anticipation of much legal wrangling. They will then know for certain which ones came in when should courts decisions affect the count.

It's simply a contingency plan.
If he wins then the voting system is fine.
If he loses then it's a conspiracy and he lost by fraud.
It couldn't be that America decided that the shitty demeanor of him and his acolytes is no longer welcome in politics. No, it has to be that the system was messed with and everyone still loves him.

He's the one who screwed the USPS in order to delay or lose ballots.

Says the man who won after Election Day four years ago. Was the rattlesnake just happy to win or did he get upset over waiting for the Electoral College vote?

If Joe Biden wins every tossup state, the Pennsylvania results will just be a bonus. Donald Trump cannot mathematically win without Florida.
