Just read in Bloomberg Business Week about the technology of wind turbines and aqua turbines assembled in to one assembly. Picture a wind turbine upside down in the oceans. Jim Dehlsen the pioneer of wind turbines has gone to the seas. Aquantis is one company doing this. Picture one example of a wind turbine upside down with a propeller above the water for wind power that rotates 90 degrees to the water blades or parallel to the water's surface. The push is going forward with this technology and if I can guess this is huge in the future. all the gibberish about harnessing waves has come about but not wave rather ocean current. Turbines are scheduled to be deployed in 2018.

Water is much denser than air, and the gulf stream is very predictable.
