Will Trump Be Forced to Release Returns?

Will Mr. Trump have to release his return now?

Yeah, but what about Frumpy?

>>he'd be a fool to put it out there for scrutiny by a bunch of W2 morons.

But the reason he won't put it out there is because even more people, a number of them supporters, would realise he's a laughable, BSing POS.

>>returns we HAVE seen in the past … May not be the actual returns of those releasing them.

Thanks for the laugh.

Except for the size of his hands.

>>he won't release and it will not make a difference.

Yes, death by a thousand tweets.

>>Trump is cooked.

And then left out in the hot sun. Beginning to reek … badly. (Said in a Trumpterian voice.)

>>Showing his tax returns … could only bury him deeper.

I agree. This train wreck is going to be … yuge. We'll never see anything like it again.

He's much worse than a *****, and that's why he won't. He may not even debate. The GOP may cut him off before the debates.

As I said, he'd be a fool to release them to a bunch of W2 morons.

What YOU think about him is immaterial. You wouldn't have voted for him if he were St. Francis. Your immature thoughts about him are, at the VERY least, immaterial.

He's probably NOT going to win the election, but his candidacy has sent a powerful message to the status quo. On both sides of the aisle.

NOW. Please make what is sure to be your ridiculous reply to my post here so I can be done with you.

My guess is that after Trump gets his butt handed to him in November everyone will know that you have to be a lot richer than he's claimed that he is to buy your way into the White House.

I don't know about that. Hillary would kind of nuke that theory.

Income taxes are about income, not worth. A team a forensic accountants and real estate valuation specialists might be able to extrapolate a net worth estimate, but not without a ridiculous amount of effort. More likely, it would show that he pays zero tax, because he has zero taxable income... and, it may show he gives nothing to charity.

That's true. And if someone claims a net worth of over $10 billion and an annual income of $20 millions people could wonder why? Is he such a bad businessman he can't generate more income from his massive wealth? Or, perhaps the claimed wealth is manipulated with, say, unrealistic property values. Or, even, for some the claim that their name has a enormous value is spurious.

I know that if someone promoted themselves as a brilliant investor and had an annual income of $150,000, Trumpkins could still believe they were brilliant just like they believe a man born a multimillionaire, who's never worked for anyone but his daddy, is one of the common men. They believe a man who business has been fleecing working class suckers is a hero of the working class. Amazing.

So what you are trying to say is you have no clue how the relationship between income and net worth works, and you're going to continue to clutch to the memes that have been created for your consumption.

I don't believe people care so much about tax returns.

Trump Supporters don't care about his tax returns. They also don't care if he lies every day or finds some new way to alienate minorities, other religions, ethnicities or kickstarts another international incident. They don't care if he changes his mind from one day to the next and is wildly inconsistent between what he does and the positions he takes. So if by "people," you mean "Trump supporters," then yes, "people" don't care so much about tax returns. The rest of us, however, are rather curious as the tax return would illustrate, if nothing else, such an inconsistency as "Did he pay any personal taxes at all?" No, I'm not saying Trump supporters will care, because it's already established they don't. But he's already criticized executives for "getting away with murder." As he said last year, “They make a fortune. They pay no tax, it’s ridiculous, okay?” And yet, the last tax return we did get to see of his showed him paying no taxes at all.

This kind of consistency is familiar ground for Trump supporters, and they made the decision many, many months ago that they were fine with that. "My tax returns are beautiful" may be a claim that's sufficient for his supporters. It is not for us.

As Fortune said,

Trump has often stated that his returns are “all very beautiful,” as if written by monks in gold leaf. It’s highly possible that Trump is scrupulously honest in matters of taxes, a beauty that could be revealed if he lifts the veil. But he’s apparently betting voters to remain curiously uncurious. The question is: Why is he making that bet at all?

Clinton has shown her tax returns, and in the coming months my prediction is that Trump made a bad bet.

No, but I can see how you might think that. Some Trumpkins attended Trump University and others sought their fortune in casinos. I would prefer hearing from people who do know the relationship than to simply listen to a lying huckster who doesn't pay his bills and pretends to be a Republican. But, that's just me. I realize that some find a liar, a huckster, a deadbeat, and a liberal very appealing.

Any businessman in his right mind doesn't make ANY personal donations. Donations are almost always made above the line using before tax dollars from their businesses. Since you didn't realize that, you, like most Americans, wouldn't understand his sure-to-be very complicated return if he DID release it.

Personally, I think he'd be a fool to put it out there for scrutiny by a bunch of W2 morons.

PS...we should probably keep in mind that returns we HAVE seen in the past? May not be the actual returns of those releasing them. It's not like the IRS can verify them...the IRS won't even DISCUSS them.

"W2 morons." Nice. I like that. Now I'm not a W2 myself, but in the spirit of your post, then yes, I am a "W2 moron." However, we're all kind of morons in that nobody can make heads or tails of his actual worth. Trump has managed to play such a perfect game that people who are not "W2 morons" who attempted to cover his actual worth all came away shrugging. It could be as high as ten billion, it could be as low as 250 million. Who knows? And the answer is, only Trump knows. Nobody knows, and Trump has worked very, very hard to keep it that way.

And yes, I'm aware that his tax returns only reveal how much he pays in taxes and donates to charity, not his net value. But Trump has managed to disguise every aspect of his business. He doesn't want us to know any of it. The question is, why? When he is running on a platform of "Elect me, I'm a yuuuge businessman," why is he making sure we're unable to quantify that? The more important question is, "Why are you okay with that?"

I see. Well, you haven't made much of a case to suggest you have a clue about income and net worth. You certainly are armed with all the memes that have been provided.

Besides, when you mention liar, huckster, deadbeat and liberal, I guess I didn't know this thread was about Hillary.

I don't know about that. Hillary would kind of nuke that theory.

If I may ask a rhetorical question, how the hell is it reasonable for a person(s) to make $10 million in a year by speaking to groups who are in a position to benefit from the office that person is seeking and who have donated millions to the effort for that person to rise to that office?
It's rhetorical because we know the answer is in the question and it's how that family has made well over $100 million doing it for years.

Her speech transcripts would be wonderful subject matter for a hacker since she doesn't appear to want anyone to see them.

The corruption of that duo, if the media could ever find it's ethical bearings to investigate, would make a normal person's head spin.
Don't tell me the media will go where the big story is.

I wouldn't expect Clinton supporters to accept Trump's refusal quietly. Maybe you guys and the Trump supporters can work out a quid pro quo of some sort, but Hillary releasing her taxes is a meager offer as a starting point. Of all the significant issues the country faces, I doubt this will have as much traction as the Clinton camp hopes it will. Maybe Harry Reid can make a statement on the Senate floor.

You realize you're in no position to question how Clinton makes a cent so long as Trump refuses to release his tax returns, right?

Non-responsive.

Come back and tell us all about it after she hands Trump his butt in November.

"Better days are coming." ~ But not for today's out of touch, running out of time,GOP.

No. Because we already know how the Clintons make their money so there's really no question and it ain't pretty.

You have the luxury of disapproving of how she makes her money because she hasn't played an ongoing shell game to prevent you from knowing it. Trump, meanwhile, has. Why is that, and why are you okay with that?

You're the one claiming moral high ground while supporting Hillary.

All you're demonstrating is that you didn't actually read my post.

Lying on the Senate floor ... now THERE'S an intentional double entendre.
But to be fair to Harry, he often saves his best stuff for out in the Lobby with Chuckie and Dick standing over his shoulders.

The shell games that couple have played are the envy of white collar criminals everywhere.
Tell me, exactly what do you now about what Bill & Hill have been doing for the last 15 years?

Actually determining Trump's net worth would be a challenge. His finances aren't very diverse, and naturally they're mostly involved in what could be characterized as speculative real estate.

The average person can't fathom billions in personal wealth. I don't think whether Trump is worth 2 billion or 8 billion is significant to many except, as you say, Trump.

The other night this came up on CNN and somebody said that Trump values his name brand at 3 billion dollars. Now if that is true, it seems a great deal of his wealth is simply gossamer in the ether and is potentially worth very little should he suffer any reversal of fortune making his name verboten among the pubic.

I am sure the name of ENRON was also worth something as a brand at one time. Now it is worthless. Lottos other examples could be cited.

The TRUMP name is taking a hit these days and a blowout loss in November would take it even further down the toilet.

You're avoiding my question. Why are you okay with Trump playing an ongoing game to prevent you from knowing his worth and what he pays?

Exactly Bubba. What's quite telling to me is the admission by those obsessed over Trumps returns that they want to prove he is not as rich as he claims. Obviously, clueless over what a tax return is. Perhaps they have no experience with one beyond a short form.

And the media this cycle will go down as one of the worst examples of yellow journalism in modern history, if not in history period.

If you have a chance, you might scan through the information in the link below. At some point, the FEC should step in.

TV News Feasts on Trump Controversies While Ignoring Hillary?s Scandals

You're avoiding my question. Why are you okay with Trump playing an ongoing game to prevent you from knowing his worth and what he pays?

Ah. You don't know what they've been doing and don't care to find out. That looks bad for you but it isn't surprising.

All you're demonstrating is that you didn't actually read my post.

All you're demonstrating is that you're a shill for Hillary and the political left. So Hillary released her tax returns. That may be the only document she could release nobody gives a damn about. Of all the things the Clintons have hidden, you choose to be upset about Trump's tax return. That's what's telling here.

Come back and tell us all about it after she hands Trump his butt in November.

Ok. Keep polishing that crystal ball shrub. I'm confident you will absolutely keep doing so for the next 50 years.
