If our future is Communism, better for the country to be smashed now. I won't live in a Communist society. Something tells me you wouldn't like the kind of Communism people such as Obama, Eric Holder, Van Jones and Pastor Wright have in mind, either.

El Cid Campeador, haha. You wish your future were communism, because then you'd have some workers benefits and compensations. No, your future is far worse than that. Your future is being a slave in this new corporate states of america. Haha.

What a jackass. You think those are Communists? They're closer to you ideologically than Communists.

The US is not worth preserving. There's no identity or values left in this country. So don't cry, whoever supersedes the USA will be better for the world.

I highly doubt the US will ever go down... most likely, if it ever gets too bad, there will be a fascist or Socialist movement to rise it back to power and it would become even more scary then it already is.

Edit: the U.S. has too much influence already to go down. And Someone in america will take advantage of the desperate people and this influence.

I oppose significantly increasing presidential power to prioritize government spending. The Constitution says that's Congress' job. It's called a budget. I say that without further Congressional guidance the treasury should pay its obligations, first come, first served. Bond holders, Social Security recipients, Medicare providers, active duty military all need to get in line.

How did you come up with that particular order of payment?
How is it legally/constitutionally/logically valid?

A US economic/societal/governmental collapse will plunge the world into not just a depression, but an abyss, one that may very well result in a new Dark Age.
The fastest way to reach -that- destination is for certain people to act like >$2.8T/yr isnt enough revenue and refuse to accept any notion to the contrary.

I'm sure there will be catastrophic affects... but i doubt the US will die. I feel like it will turn into a situation like Post World War 1 Germany. We have too much influence already and when the public is extra vulnerable i think our government will change into something most people won't like, but just as powerful.

I could be wrong, due to the amount of Liberal hippies around, they would probably just rather live in the woods... hey, i would too actually lol

If the government collapses, the 'liberal hippies' will likely be among the first to go.

Will we default? Absolutely all governments collapse eventually and we will be no exception.

I assume you mean in the short term, possibly. Even if we raise the debt ceiling limit if we continue borrowing anywhere near current levels we will eventually default anyway, its just a matter of time.

If we do not make significant changes soon inflation will kill us even if we do not default.

actually when it comes to refusing to spend, the tradition of Presidents refusing to spend money allocated in a budget goes back to Jefferson.

This is just the beginning of our crash. We were dumb enough to elect Obama, and now we must deal with the consequences. The country will be in ruins, by the end of his second term. IMO, we can thank the tea baggers for this, NOT President Obama. Civil war might even break out. Seriously...............
Share with us...
What exactly do you know of the events leading to the "first crash" (The Great Depression). ???
BTW, I believe the fix for this one was a huge infusion of money into the system , caused by WW 2....
We can do the same today, after the tea baggers and conservatives are removed by the people..
But for me to sell the American people on this idea.....helll.....I cannot sell myself on such an animal.
