Will the Republican Tax Plan Work?
We have a big decision this fall; let the Republicans stay in power so they've no one to blame or try to fix what may not be wrong.
I want clear answers, not bias or trying to win argument.
What is the data presently showing? What has happened to the Obama growth trajectory? Are we seeing candy growth or substantial gains? Will the growth, foreign investment and returning business be enough to grow us out of our hole or should we go back to the Democrats?

Define "work".
How much "returning business" has happened or has been announced?
It will work, but not as well as it would have if Congress had passed every part of Trump's agenda.
The Republicans did nothing but put trillions of dollars of tax cuts for the rich onto the national credit card. And remember, the House Republicans wanted to additionally punish homeowners, grad students, etc.
BTW it hasn't even worked that well. Trump?s Tax Cuts Didn?t Benefit U.S. Workers, Made Rich Companies Richer, Analysis Finds
The right wing has nothing but socialism on a national basis. It is only a matter of time before Your guy's trade wars, catch up with us.

It's too late, the bill's already passed. Do you have any remedy you would like me to dictate to the Democrats?
Fantastic I got five great comments.
You're the man. You're the man.
I'm going to have to think about this I'll get back to you.
Work means produce enough growth for us to grow out of our Debt. Means not stagnate or tank only crash.
But how do we pay the debt if we're maxed out and crashed? So if it crashes then plan B; go with the Democrats as soon as possible.
Apple is coming in on the order of ten billion.

Homeowners? Why should I tell you to get a house? But this in argument to Flat Tax, not this nonsense.
Rich companies can accomplish more, but are harder to keep up with, harder to control, have more power in Congress, have a greater capacity for destruction and evil, can put others out of business making more market share for themselves.
Well, He is my guy (lol), but I've ****** him up so bad for how he would have acted if he had lost and for passing his tax reform. (I'm just Joshing with you)(go read 1 Peter 2:7,8 and Romans 9:33; I just learned these yesterday)
I'm not sure what you mean, the left are the socialists.
I think he's prudent and prudent to use his credit to do what he thinks will work, but will it? I believe everything else he's doing is prudent.
The only argument I see so far is that we don't like running up the Debt, but I don't hear the Democrats screaming as loudly as the Republicans did about the Debt so they're missing it. They're only screaming about Russia and these words don't mix as well as Benghazi and e-mail. No, Russia is alone and they have nothing to pin it to they should pin Russia to Debt, but they did have to keep borrowing with Obama because of the financial crisis he was handed.
Republicans are winning because of their God and the Godless Democrats are going to want to see the deed (try to get rid of Bible).
I think my question was worth more than one line in a rapid-fire response to everyone in the thread. You say you want clear answers, and then you toss an offhand answer at me and include it in a wall of text written to other people.
I'll try one more time.
Thank you for the reminder about Apple's plans. Do we have any follow-up on their initial announcement? Have any other companies committed to bring business back to America?
And how does it compare to the businesses which are still leaving the country?
I don't expect an exhaustive answer, but if you actually know any specifics, I would appreciate hearing them.
No. Without reigning in spending, a failure to maintain a balanced budget will simply grow the debt to massive levels and increase the risk of either (1) a national debt default (which would be unlikely) or (2) the government simply printing currency to pay off the existing debt which results in hyperinflation (please see: Zimbabwe). Neither good options. The only way this will work is if the United States government tackles entitlement reform. And by "reform" I mean cutting taxpayer dollars to Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid, and privatizing these systems. In my opinion, the United States were to follow any other country's model with regard to our social safety nets (at least where retirement is concerned), our retirement system could stand to look more like Australia's.
